no f**k you , I know my music, Goodbye booze was written in 1901 by Jean C Havez, as a coon temprament song, it , like many songs of the time orignated in broadway, but travelled south and new lyrics were added, It was poplularised by good ould charlie Poole in the 30's. IT is not bluegrass because all of these songs predate bluegrass. What OCMS have done is to take old songs from old records and give them a 21stC makover, and name them as their own.

@jimdoc51 That is partially because blue grass, folk and country originated from old irish, scottish and english folk music. There is similar instruments in both styles of music. Also the evolution of certain playing styles can be tracked.
