  • Does anyone know where I can buy the wagons at minute 1:38. Those that carry two containers. Many thanks

  • @pere19542010 It is old A-line models, not too happy with them myselves. write me an e-mail if you are interested in mine at a low price.

  • stupid question here......can you run G-scale in the rain?

  • @timberwolf218 Have no idea.

  • @timberwolf218 LGB is waterproof, I don't know if any others are. Now just because it's not waterproof doesn't mean you probably couldn't run it in a little rain. A torrential downpour would be different, but a light sprinkle should be fine.

  • @timberwolf218 you can run any scale in the rain so long as it doesnt get in the train we used to have a 00/ho scale garden layout and we modifyed the trains so they were waterproof and we had a matt clear coat sprayed on to all the trains and wagons so tehy were waterprrof tahh

  • i thought bnsf didnt have flashing ditchlites

  • @killionreggie The 8-40CW's, dash 9's, SD75's and SD70ACe's all have flashing ditchlights. I think it is a safety thing for crossing roads and slow movement in yards and stations.

  • So awsome man super detailing love the engines everything looked fantastic would love to run some of my trains on your layout.I give it 10 thumbs up. Faved also

  • @83dubbie Thanks. I have since this video got quite some engines and a lot of cars weathered. I hope hat the middle layer we constructing right now will have even higher details.

  • Very nice show shed model. Are there any of those things still i extant?

  • I believe that modern day snow sheds are of concrete

  • i'm a big fan of the Warbonnet paint of Santa Fe and the bloody nose and dark grey of SP/SSW.

  • It is a very nice colour scheme. Better than the current day BNSF scheme.

  • Those freight trains are cool. That layout is awesome. Would love to run my future Santa Fe intermodal train on there--50 cars and 5 locomotives.

  • Thanks. It gets better and better all the time.

  • these your trains? they look cool

  • Thanks. Yes all the engines and cars were mine at the time of the shooting. I have sold a few of the freight cars to other members of our club since I took this video, as they were too old for my modern style.

  • this is cool. I got a BRAND NEW santa fe #838 C40-8W atlas silver at a train show for 70$

  • Great.

Look forward to see it in action on the tube..

  • i love the war bonnet paint scheme

  • That is one of the best paint schemes ever

  • im working on mine now im trying to get a few ideas

  • That what it is all about.

  • hey nice layout

  • Thanks

  • what couplers do you use?

  • In this video they are all kadee no. 58. I have some Genesis Covered Hoppers which are using Kadee 78, but the 58 is the main one.

  • is the Life-Like standard NMRA couplers a good type, in your opinion? i think they are

  • I must say that I only use Kadee 58 and Kadee 118. I have tryed others, McHenry and Walthers, but they just didn't live up to my expectations.

  • c00l!!!

  • Loved your video. I have several of the HO Atlas C40-8W locos in my collection, and they're my favorites. (No "dummy" engines for me, either!) I see you're showing your Danish patriotism with all those Maersk containers. Now you need to add the GP60M that Santa Fe painted in Maersk colors, and you'll be all set! ;)

  • I know, but I will stick to the SF & BNSF trains.

  • on my layout, i have multiple trains pulling, but what i do is i have the fake plastic trains behind one that pulls, try it out

  • I rather have two trains running at the same time oppersite eachother. I know that others use dummy engines to make the power in front look bigger.

  • I can answer that, as we members of the same club. Yes, we are from Denmark.

  • That is a great looking layout. Wish our club layout looked that good!

  • So you live in Denmark? Im assuming

  • I can answer that, as we members of the same club. Yes, we are from Denmark.

  • No prob. Where do you get your cars??

I too havent gotten around to filming my Dash 9's due to electrical problems. I have a BNSF one and 3 U.P.

  • various shops in the US, MB Klein, ToyTrainHeaven and ofcourse EBAY. We can not get that much US stuff here in Denmark, unless you are having Maerklin AC layout (which I used to have) so the internet have really made this much more easy for us to find the right cars.

  • What scale is that? Mine is HO scale. I have and Athearn Dash 9 Loco, which is similar to you Atlas C40-8W.

    Good video by tha way...

  • This is HO Scale. I have some Dash 9 from Kato aswell, they have just not found their way to the club for video setting yet. But that will happen soon.

    Thanks for the comment

  • lots of shaking going around ;-)

  • nice
