I have Mars and Pluto in Scorpio in the 8th house, and a bunch of Capricorn/10th house activity.

I think I am hard to kill. Ego, really. I don't really know. I think about death often. How I might die, the tragic ways it could happen. But, I always imagine myself pulling out of it. A burst of adrenaline and inner strength which keeps me alive. One day of course, it won't.

Until I reach a point in life, in which I feel I have accomplished whats needed, I am afraid of death. But not forever.

I have 8th House in Aquarius, Neptune in Capricorn, Pluto in Scorpio and I'm not afraid of what is going to happen after death at all. I just don't want the process to be painful. As someone said, Death must be easy because Life is hard. ;-)

When it's your time it's your time. I think you can go at anytime and the more you think about how your gonna die can affect you emotionally and physically. Fear takes over people the more they think about dying. I feel death is a natural thing whether it's trauma or old age. Unless your Elsa who doesn't mind the thought of death and what comes with it.

my views on death: Its uncontrollable and going to happen either way. Right now for a certain I know that I am safe here on earth with my family and friends who care about me.. So I am not so eager to die, but if it comes close to happening I will suppress any sadness, (because it is what is bound.) and I will accept it.

how to overcome fear of death? Probably there are people who want to suicide but fear of death makes it impossible for them to do it which could be frustrating

I'm terrified of death and paradoxically have suicidal fantasies though I have no planets in the 8th house (which is in Aries). My Uranus is in Scorpio in the 3rd house (which is the only Scorpio position I have). I've attributed my fears to possibly being because of my sun/jupiter/lilith conjunction in cancer in the 11th house or my moon/mercury/saturn conjunction in leo in my 12th house.

Ill never forget this astrology book at Barnes and Noble, It said that I should not take drugs even prescription because of the contacts I have between some planets causing me to be connected to the collective unconcious. So anything and everything that people can think of resides just below the surface of my persona;ity to access carefully, when Im ready. Before trusting astrology fully (afflicted Neptune) I have also experimented with various drugs, and had very scary visions and feelings of death. Where I imagine the feeling act and scene of taking your own life. Or the scene of other peoples deaths read or seen on news. Or plane crashes floods natural disasters. Its as if I feel like I gain some kind of answer by being so close to it. But then actually being able to not actually die. Its almost as if Ive died 100 of times with peoples deaths.

I guess Im not afraid of death so much as the last couple years or final decade leading up to it. Should It be known to me I would hate to sit around and wait knowing my time is almost up. Especially If I cannot take myself to do simple tasks such as using the bathroom showering feeling clean. Death is the easy part for me. I do have a preoccupation with it though. I've studied almost every way or seen on the internet how people die or the way they look when they die.

I have observed Scorpion energy desires to control i.e. be the master of their fate and the captain of their soul, in every individual's chart, on the cusp or in the house area of life where their Scorpion energy resides. The only death I'm afraid of is something that would cause a lot of physical pain. Other than that, I just view it as a transition. From what I understand we're always dying (shedding) in some way or another. I'm also kind of with you on the "release" - but I just began my mountain climb, so that'll have to wait!

I have a roommate with NIS, and he's very goth. "You know that they died a few years ago, right?" Or... "Hey... guess who died!" He seems to be obsessed with youth (he hates aging), so he's clearly afraid of death. I guess with Scorpio, the opinion would be either very hot or very cold.
