  • That is Righteous!!

  • Is this still on a stock S-10 frame? I'm considering swapping a 6.2 into a 94 S10 Blazer 4x4 and some tell me the suspension won't take the weight.

  • how hard wa it to do this i wana do this but a isuzu 4 banger diesel

  • @Motorchevytoyota That would be pretty sick!

  • have you put a body lift on the truck the motor fits alittle low for an s10

  • how much does the 6bt and 4bt engine and all the nessacary installment items run? and which would be best in a chevy s10 zr2? sweet rig by the way.

  • very very nice.

I've been thinking of putting a 315hp Yanmar in a Chevy C10 for my next project when I have enough money.

  • That's awesome I wish my 15 year old budget could afford and fit that into my s10.

  • what year of an s10 is this without the lights and the grill it is hard to tell

  • Its a 88, but the support and grill are for a 91 gmc

  • intercooler next on the list?

  • 6.5s must be a lot nicer with 3000 pounds less weight =)

    Great job!

  • holy shit that sounds cool! Wish I had turbo on my 318

  • is the turbo running off one exaust manifold???

  • Nope. There is a crossover pipe under the motor.

  • That truck is the real deal. Looking forward to wheeling with ya.

  • Thats weird, where did you get that exhaust manifold? I didn't think they placed the turbo that far ahead!

  • Thats an old BAE turbo kit.

  • Yeah I wouldnt suspect it bein that hard to fit in, by the way the 6.5's are only 395cu right thumertrev? Did you go with the mechanical 6.5? Fill us in with more current vids and let us know what you get for fuel mileage. Nice swap! Im a big 6.5 fan

  • 6.5 liters = 396.654337 cubic inches :)

  • yeah ok bs. what did u do, get a different frame? lol. way to big for an s10

  • Different frame? NO. Lots of work, yes. Check out photobucket user tbleau if you dont believe me. Also, no mods to the motor other than an old Bae turbo. Fitting the motor was not much harder than the old 350 that i had in it. Hardest part was moving pass engine mount on frame 3" forward for the starter to fit.

  • How did you fit a 6.5 in a s10?????? I want to do that so badly but i pretty sure it would rip it apart lol

  • sounds great-what mods have you done to it?

fixin to throw an ATS turbo on my 6.2

  • Sorry guys, sold the truck. Will be doing a chevy-cummins conversion in the spring!!

  • thats the way to go

  • thats wicked man, 4bt or 6bt?

im planning to build a 6bt dually s10 on airride haha!

  • Haha! got rid of the chevy for a crew cab f350 dually. But, I still will be doin a 6bt swap to that.

  • Woah, Chevy-Cummins? What Chevy?

I REALLY want to put a Cummins (4bt or 6bt) in an s10 Blazer. :)

  • @JonathanErber You can put a 6bt in my S10 blazer if you let me have it back when you're done........please

  • Haha... Right! :) I saw someone do it once and it cut into the firewall pretty deeply. Not the same inside after that job. lol

Nice thing with the 4bt is it'd be less intrusive into the interior, which means more of a chance my wife will let me keep it when I get married. :p

  • Just turned up the pump a little. Didn't need any more than that...it went pretty good as was.
