  • you got it, little buddy! don't stop.

  • the effects your using on the electric guitar... do you think they'd work on an electric violin? i'm going through an experimental phase at the moment with the violin, and i thought that seeing as i can do the solos on violin, they might work with effects. obviously, i have a pick up, so yeah.

  • @JackyRowe Wow that's really interesting, and very hard to tell if it will work. Since the sound of this solo has a lot to do with how you pick the strings (and mute them) it might not sound like you want it to on the violin, but who knows really. You'll just have to try a big muff at your local music store (use the little big muff, it is far the best of the new versions)furthermore Gilmour is only using a big muff (a vintage though) when he's playing, that's all you need if you play loud enough

  • @MarcBeckK I've looked into it, but I haven't come across a muff for a while. i'll try one out though, thanks for the advice! By the way, go to my channel, and you can here an acoustic version of the solo that I've done with my mate Alex, which I uploaded the other day. Let me know what you think!

  • You've got what it takes! These guitars will provide you great pleasure for the rest of your life. Best of luck to you.

  • great work dude but don`t study this introspective shit,....most of us who played floyd stuff disappeared us our own assholes, believe it!! you got it though,.... in spades. rock on,.........

  • awesome dude, keep at it.

  • go study, forget guitar for another 30 years

  • okay meth head.

  • Aww this is so long ago, you look so young. I like your hair longer like this though! Awesome video, I loove your playing.

  • hell yeah bro, we have similar gear except my Marshall MG is 10 watts and I get my delays and chorus' through a digitech rp80 and I don't have that sweet 12 string. My telecaster gets some sweet tones though. You are also a very fluid player, keep playing to your soul's content and rock on my friend.

  • very nice bends dude, keep it up! its good to see youngsters like you playin gguitar so good at a youg age

  • ok cool guy just use the tele the whole time

  • sweet 12 sting accoustic man!

  • you're either a drug dealer or have some VERY cool parents! That Alvarez Yairi 12 string was not cheap... nor was the rest of the gear.

  • haha i just saw your comment on a friend of mines video of him playing comfortably numb hes not a drug dealer hes a single child =p

  • Hey man, this is zach, remember me? This is so cool dude, you are really good. Hope you are planning on going somewhere with your guitar playing, and get the hell out of caruthersville. My mom said hey, and that you rock.

  • Thanks Zach

  • Haha, that was awesome great work, how long have you been playing?

  • 3 years

  • nice job

  • Very well. You have timing and fingers to do the job. Keep goin.

  • That's gotta kill your shoulder XD

It's impressive but for practicality I'd invest in one of those acoustic emulating pedals.

I'm thinking of getting a tele and I use a Muff... I'm worried I won't be able to get any really big muffy sounds out of it even if I roll the tone down...

  • i tried out a highway one with a big muff pi =)

    trust me

you can get some nice muffy (lol) tones out of that combo

btw for bein only around 800 the highway one series is FANTASTIC =]

  • Kick ass bro. Keep it up!

  • i have a fender 12 string, i don't play as much as i should but i'm ok

  • Great job man!

  • Nice video! Are you using the american or russian big muff?

  • i'm using the american muff.

  • nice, love the tele.

  • way to go
