Yes, Eric was there standing right next to George. I think the clip of Eric's interview is also on youtube. I was watching the Emmys red carpet preview and I noticed that George and Eric walked the red carpet together, just the two of them without the rest of the cast as they always use to do. There're pics of them holding each other by the waist and when a reporter asked George why CSI was a hit, he said smiling to Eric: "Because of Eric?".
