Check the comment section, its in German. So the uploader could have put subtitles they just didn't. At the very least they could have added (German) to the title.

If you are uploading a video in your native tongue for a foreign country not putting subtitles is ignorant.

You're right man. I'm German and I can't understand that either. I only watch movies and series in english and I think everybody should. Not only because the dubbing sounds ridiculous, but also because you learn much more that way than they could ever tech you in school. But unfortunately, most people here are just to lazy :D

It is simple- the "market" for Norway/ Sweden, or similar, is too small. The german-speeking countries have in total nearly 100mio people (D,A,CH), Norway under 5mio, Sweden 9mio.

I also like more subtitling than syncro, but I think it s a question of rentability and not of lazyness.

You're perfectly right about the market issue. That's the logical origin of the problem. But with the lazyness I refered to the people who just refuse to start watching movies in english. It's not the dubbing firms fault as such, as in times of DVDs and INTERNET, everyone can decide himself which audiolines he activates.

Yeah, I'm from Holland and we don't dub anything here too. Sometimes we don't even subtitle it. Dubbing is just dumb. For instance, when The Fresh Prince of Bel Air or Prison Break is aired they cut out all the original voices and put their own under it?! They totally rape shows, movies, etc. like that. I believe it's the only country of the Western World who does this.
