It looks good, but...

A lot of the grit is lost. Deus Ex takes place in a grimy, dirty world of poverty and corruption, and a lot of the atmosphere is lost when the surroundings are cleaned up.

@mozartfx1 I'm not trying to pointlessly fault this mod. For example, the 'Ton looks like a large and grand hotel, when the reality is that it's supposed to be a shady shit-shack in the hopelessly poor parts of New York. The design is good, but it misses the point of the setting.

Nevertheless: after beating the game countless times - it's not a bad thing to try something different. :) Especially when it attracts few people's attention, who missed this awesome game.

@TheCabal There's also a DirectX 10 (!!) renderer out for this awesome game. However it's not compatible with enbseries. It supports heightmaps and much more. That thing didn't exist when i made the video so it's not shown here, maybe I'll create a new vid when I got some spare time. Google "Kentie's Direct X 10 renderer" if you're planning to test it. However since Deus Ex would need a whole new texture-mod to make use of all DirectX 10 features (heightmaps,..), I still prefer using enbseries.

I dunno, It seems like Deus Ex game is very easy to get familiar with, like it was my home made game and the saoundtrack as well. Very private and intimate. I agree, spacecoke. I hope DX3 is better than DX2, but I honestly don't think they'll ever be able to surpass DX1. I will say that I wasn't totally disappointed by DX2, though, and I did play it all the way through. If I had never played DX1 before it, I would have been disappointed, but since I was already a fan of the series, it was bearable. :)
