Good work. For some reason a lot of the tutorials on upgrading to openoffice 3 have had mistakes in them (leading to a messy, problem-filled installation).
But this one was good.

also I'd rather use the .debs from the open office website then install with a will card command
sudo dpkg -i *.deb

how do you install oo3 on fedora 10 ? in the software sorces are about 50 oo packages , witch one are the right ones ?

I'm not sure -- but I just started downloading Fedora 10 to try including it in future tech tips.

All of them, basically is all the packages that OOo is divided into.

I just installed Mandriva -- so the next tech tip will likely be using it. Also, Mitch doesn't *ever* use a *buntu distro, so it balances a bit. :)
