Then when the clip ends, act like there must be some technical error...later, after he calms down, do it again.

I saw that scene in the theater and laughed my ass off. Robert Downey Jr. was in some great comedies back then, like "Weird Science". Now he's on top and everyone he worked with back then is dead or long gone. Check out "Kiss Kiss, Band Bang". Downey is funny as hell PLUS you get to see Michelle Monaghan topless. It's a perfect guy movie.
