  • Republicans are EVIL.

  • plain and simple. the GOP HATE paying taxes and the DEMS love poor people!

  • GOP is crushing the empty suit in the white house. Back to community organizing Baraack. That's what happens to a demoguage hyped up by the media. All words no substance. Thank God for Obama, it's getting people to wake up against liberal/socialism/progressives running this country. He has brought out more conservatives than Reagan. Thanks Obama. Dems are running scared. GOOD!!! TAX, BORROW, PRINT AND SPEND...NO, GO HOME!!! The emperor wears no clothes.

  • "We'd like to thank the president for coming in and COMPLETELY DESTROYING THE GOP live on national TV."

I'm so glad they televised this discussion. Thanks GOP. Please do more in the future.

  • look how small that packet is! hahahahahahahahahaha!! they don't take these problems seriously! SHUT UP!!

  • Republicans = Filth

  • It's Bush's fault Obama failed!

  • No, it's Obummers own fault. Typical Democrat always blaming their own failures on someone else. Spineless.

  • Obama was brilliant against these Republicans who lacdk substance. The fact is Obama inherited a 1.3 trillion YEARLY deficit. If the deficit are rising two years from now then yes, he should be blamed. He inherited an economy careening out of control. Economists of both parties say unemployment would be worse if the stimulus hadn't been passed.

  • President Obama was brilliant facing the Republicans who lack any substance. And the facts are that he inherited a 1.3 trillion YEARLy deficit and an economy careening out of control. If the deficitis are still going up two years from now then yes Obama should be blamed but he can't be blamed for the state of the economy right now and most economists say it would be worse if the stimulus hadn't passed.

  • Republicants HAVE SELECTIVE MEMORIES

    Boehner: where are the jobs.

Hey asswipe...Rome wasn't built in a day...jobs don't magically appear..they will in a few years..any economist will tell you jobs are the LAGGING indicator in a recovering economy..look that up Boenher...this guy abd that fucking geek Cantor have some balls ...do they forget that Obama has to clean up the 8 years worth of damage that Bush did to this country???

Republicans all of a sudden are worrying about spending

  • A good ol' fashioned ass whooping! You wingnuts better stop relying on all those idiotic talking points and start governing!

  • Republicans are the one's whom are stopping pres Obama from getting his job done. And republicans now are suppose to be the savior when George Bush was the one who blew up the American economy by signing felonious bill for banks. [let's keep blowing smoke.] I know where the economy is going... no where, a crash of the dollar in a (2) yrs. Im waiting for china to buy up everything in the country now.

Americans can't run anything. /corruption/ But ruin everything.

  • Obama is a rat. Impeach him before he does more damage.

  • Let the man do his job. Let him work without all the lies and garbage talk.

  • @JimmyFormerMarine

    STFU uneducated asswipe

  • JimmyF....you have to have a reason to impeach a president. You don't have one so I'd suggest that after the performance of past 8 years ....go sit in a corner and be quiet.

Obama smoked the entire group...gotta make you jealous.....imagine what he'd do to Palin!

  • I am so Proud of the President and the GOP on this one... let's work on the things we can agree on... Country first, politics last ! It was REALLY a very constructive dialogue... Thank God

  • I hope the Republicans are not happy with this insincere sign of bipartisanship. The only reason Obama showed the sign of leadership, he should have shown a year ago, is because his party is running for the hills. Don't be fooled.

  • John Boehner knows what its like to come from humble beginnings....he knows his people. John Boehner will be the next Speaker of the House.

  • Obama always speaks down to people......literally he shows no physical signs of humility. He raises his nose high in the air....like I know whats best for America attitude......the people know nothing. Obama shamed the supreme court for its view and nearly got a standing ovation!

  • I think he did pretty good. It's hard to take the republican caucus serious at this point. I don't think they will ever vote on anything he submits. Heck all of them voted against pay-as-go to address debt concerns. something i thought was a republican central concern and yet all of them voted against it anyway!! WHY WOULD U DO THAT!! THAT'S JUST RETARDED. The health care bill is so watered down that even the CBO said the bill cost more without the public option & they still voted against it

  • Wow, when he's not being shouted down with "socialist" or "you lie" bipartisanship seems plausible.

  • you guys have Obama and the Dem's on the ropes, dont stop fighting now.

no compromise, no surrender. dont work with Obama, make Obama work with you.

  • I am totally disgusted. I find this sickening!

    Republican "leadership" NEEDS TO GO!

Obama spent hours scolding you Republican "leaders" as if you were school children!

    Common Ground????????????

THERE IS NO COMMON GROUND WITH SOCALISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vote Boehner and the rest of our so called Republican "leaders" OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And FINALLY the old Democratic constant lie = about the non existent ideas? Seem to be in a blue coverd binder with a title! And are going to be posted on the Government site! ... I heard proposal after proposal day after day (all year) from Senators and Representatives and all of them Republicans that could not get one toe in the door or a single meeting to discuss them. With the President or Speaker Pelosi or Eric Holder = EVER! I hope the American People take a look at these ideas and WAKE UP

  • @memama2 No one ever said there were NO ideas from the Republican party, just ideas that put Big Insurance's interests in front of the common people.

I don't like Pelosi either. But Obama provided a well-needed healthy debate with the Republican party, and I HOPE that this continues moving forward.

    Our country NEEDS it.

  • @memama2 wow, facts just dont mean anything to people like you do they. your all a bunch of idiots. anyone can give an idea, but like it was pointed out by obama time and again, you really should get your ears checked, ideas mean nothing without numbers to back up the ideas, thats what boilerplate means idiot, ideas without statistics to back them up. anyone can do that you moron. i swear your brains have been destroyed by beck and limbaugh theres no help its to late for you

  • what idea?

  • He then when on to show his "thin-skin" & "ruffled feathers" with the last question by blaming "bush" once again in a long long diatribe trying to justify his current spending and budget! = but had to bring it back to "bush" as his starting point? I think that the question was not fully answered and WHERE THE SHOVEL READY JOB LINE IS? ......the great unknown mystery of this last year! (unless you are already in the wind ~ turbine "industry" LOL! and then there's 2? part time jobs) & thats it

  • @memama2 , i suppose your going to ignore the fact that the gdp is up almost seven percen in the last quarter and has had a 12 percent increase since the stimulus package, oh yeah that stimulus package was where most of the money in that huge budget came from , you know to save our asses after bush and cheaney destroyed our country. I know these are facts so your confused by the notion but at least i can back them up unlike you idiots who say, we have ideas but nothing to back them up, lmao lol

  • so let me get this straight? Pres Obama has taken 10+ mins to discuss & answer PLANTED questions(like the one he gave little Julia Hall in New Hampshire) YET? He chided the last questioner at todays meeting who did a wonderful job of trying to explain the premise behind his question & had all the numbers lined up; & then was rudely interuppeted & told "I know there's a question in there"! I just wish President Obama had allowed the questioner the curtesy he kept STRESSING he wants from OTHERS

  • No I'am afraid not, people minded like you will never get it straight like you said, but its funny how you people always seem to get it extreamly "Right".Nice lesson in comon sence ethics Mr.President.But now you will also be blamed for being rude an untolerant, imagine that.

  • WOW! We are starting to see common ground. This is positive. Will we see now Bush Tax cuts extended? Will we now see shrinking Federal Government & bureaucracy jobs sucking tax dollars out of American's pockets? Will industry expand & innovate bringing American Jobs home? The Tea Party will be watching. Will you leave our 401k accounts alone and make sure they remain out of a Federal government takeover when social security finally goes busted?. Thanks GOP..

  • I found Obama defensive and combative at times, not to mention just wrong and deceitful during the question and answer session. But I have to give him credit for having the guts to show up. I hope, however, that this event proves to not just be another photo opt and that Obama will actually put his talk of bipartisanship into action not merely words this time.

  • I'm a republican and I'm telling you that the man wants to do his job. He has people, on both sides, that don't want to see this happen. If people actually started working together, there would be no need for alot of these assholes.

  • Just what I've come to expect from the GOP:

"An error has occured, please try again later."
