This is from the 1989 album "Neither Fish Nor Flesh," the follow up from his successful debut "Hardline" Its track #10. Also featured on the same album is "To Know Someone Deeply is to Know Someone Softly" which got some play. Love ALL HIS ALBUMS. Buy Wild Card also
I still got that album those songs came from! Man, those could've been big hits for him if they were heavily promoted (Attracted To You and I'll Be Alright also had real potential to do the same), but I guess his publicity stunts at the time were giving him more trouble than they were worth so that never really transpired. Then again, the music on that album was a sharp contrast to the slick high-tech new jack sound that was ruling the airwaves then so maybe it didn't matter at all...
