Lebanon is democratic in terms of the freedom to form and join political parties, exchange of power among them, and that the government is elected and approved by the opposition. You need to do more reading about democracy and how it works, it's not just a a bunch of elected members, it's about power exchange and elected governments just like in the US, UK, Australia and Israel.

My information is 100% correct. The parliament was dissolved twice in the past 5 years by the Amir in order for the PM to avoid any questions by the MPs. The TV show (Sotek Wesal) on Scope TV was banned and stopped from airing after 2-3 episodes just because it was criticising some MPS. In the 30s Kuwait had no education (schools), no TV, no Radio, no Newspapers no nothing, so what sort of medium did you use to express ur freedom of speech???
i dont know about scoop and i dont know if many people watch this channel to start with !! but yes we do express our freedom across Newspapers Mainly as is it our No. 1 source of news, 95% of Kuwaiti have newspapers subscription 45% Al Watan, 35% Al Rai the remaining is across other newspapers. TV is also a major source (but again im not sure about scoop, i dont know alot of people who watch it)

The term opposition is not only that I disagree with you! Oppositions are legally formed parties that criticised and watch the government openly with no fear of getting thrown in jail for two weeks. The opposition must has a leader who are EQUAL to the PM in terms of political power and status. The irony is that most of the islamist and tribal MPs are US and UK graduates!

Lebanon is democratic in terms of the freedom to form and join political parties, exchange of power among them, and that the government is elected and approved by the opposition. You need to do more reading about democracy and how it works, it's not just a a bunch of elected members, it's about power exchange and elected governments just like in the US, UK, Australia and Israel.

They lived a period of their life in Kuwait and that's why acquired the Kuwaiti name. Of course they CANNOT go back. The parliament of Kuwait is mainly controlled by hard-core Salafi & Wahabbi members, let alone the Beduins who are waaay backward. I'm half Kuwaiti half Iraqi.

im Kuwaiti from a an Iraqi mother, yes we do have hard-core salafi, but we also have a couple of jewish families as well as christians, my grandfather was the consultant of sheikh Jaber allah yer7ema and those families used to come visit his Diwaniya.. they are treated like any other Kuwaiti as our state is a democratic state, religion is a personal preference.
we do not have any Saddameyeen and we did not kick anyone out of the country! i love jews and i want to learn hebrew inshallah

Allow the Bahai people to build their own worship place. My information is 100% correct. The parliament was dissolved twice in the past 5 years by the Amir in order for the PM to avoid any questions by the MPs. The TV show (Sotek Wesal) on Scope TV was banned and stopped from airing after 2-3 episodes just because it was criticising some MPS. In the 30s Kuwait had no education (schools), no TV, no Radio, no Newspapers no nothing, so what sort of medium did you use to express ur freedom of speech???

i dont know about scoop and i dont know if many people watch this channel to start with !! but yes we do express our freedom across Newspapers Mainly as is it our No. 1 source of news, 95% of Kuwaiti have newspapers subscription 45% Al Watan, 35% Al Rai the remaining is across other newspapers. TV is also a major source (but again im not sure about scoop, i dont know alot of people who watch it)
the PM has been questioned but he had resigned just like other ministers before him!

Al Watan is owned and controlled by the royal family and Sunni Islamists. The issue with Scope TV made headlines all over the newspapers for weeks as it was a form of oppression.
The PM has NEVER EVER been questioned that's why he resigned 2-3 times and formed 5 governments in 3 years to avoid being asked by the MPs.

The term opposition is not only that I disagree with you! Oppositions are legally formed parties that criticised and watch the government openly with no fear of getting thrown in jail for two weeks. The opposition must has a leader who are EQUAL to the PM in terms of political power and status. The irony is that most of the islamist and tribal MPs are US and UK graduates!

3azizi I read in a website that he was originally from Southern Iraq and then he went to Kuwait "him ya3ni not his family and parents and grandparents" after going to Kuwait he started his singing career.. so he was called al Kuwaiti.. I mean he's not like all the other kuwaities who are of different origin, he's Iraqi

Yes there are no Jews in Kuwait, except for the ones from an Iraqi origin. Their father left Iraq and resided in Kuwait. As a result, both Saleh and Dawoud were born in Kuwait. The Amir of Kuwaut used to visit them and enjoy their music.

Once again my friend we can't generalize people, we cant's say all arab or all jewish or all christians, although im not religious but i think u and muslim as well as Christian all of you believe in the same god,so I think we as people have nothing to do with all the conflict wether it is in iraq or israel or in india we should all take the peace path and raise our kids to believe in peace not in hate,let me know if u have more of those great iraqi songs please , thank you

We Kuwaitis are very proud that Dawood and Saleh alkuwaiti, they inriched our own kuwaiti culture, people in kuwait still listen to there music. Jews are our cousins and we love them all.

Yahoodi1, I would love to see the day that we can treat each other as what we are not what we believe in or what is our religion, You should know that Iraqi Jewish live in Iraq for over 2000 years so they are Iraqis and we as muslim love them and have no problem with them what so ever, however POLITICS is dirty my friend and it is the reason why Iraqi jewish left Iraq.
