i know uv said u dont care but ur clearly an idiot. give it six months and paj will more of a POS than it arleady is. and saying u dont care about the rust just shows u dont even have respect for ur own belongings. dick....head.
tonzislandsandman ur funny man why do u out so much effort into comment on this guys video its not ur car u shouldnt care if it rusts !! do u have some daddy issues? where u never allowed to get dirty or have fun when u where a kid haha.
if u think he is cause damage to the island you should see what the last storms did to the dunes up there!
oh wait you probably don't know cause you have never been there and don't know what ur talking about
you didnt note that part of the video is sped up? It would be fairly boring to have 5 minutes of real-time video crossing the island.
if you have ever been there you will know the majority of the damage is done by the unimogs and tourist busses and retards who have nfi how to 4wd, crawling along at 6kph and getting bogged every few minutes and chewing up the sand.
So now that ive made it clear i dont care about the car rusting, your picking on the damage to the sand.. Anything else?
You clearly shouldn't be allowed to go back, with the way you treat a privilage to drive on a world heritage site / displacing tonnes of sand on inland tracks from your excessive speeds, extra immissions and noise created destroying the serenity of the unique environment.
I feel sorry for the poor bugger u'l flog this car too after you. If a mechanic saw this vid he would laugh and probley cause his lungs to collapse from laughing too hard. Electronic rust proofing would do shit all either if you had it installed on the car, if your gonna expose it to conditons as harsh as that. Allot of your engine components over time will start ceasing up as they rust. Rust will eventually displace greece and oil from lubrication areas and she'l cease up!
I bought the car to have fun in, not for its resale value.
really couldnt care less if it rusts. Ive already sold that one around a year after i took that video, and wow wouldnt you know it, no rust! even if it did, i still wouldnt care.
Ive bought a hilux now, and plan to be going back to fraser next week, sooooo.. like i said, im not fussed.
Mate the speed your driving on the islands inland tracks is exceeding the 35km/h speed limit. I'd be carefull a member of the Queensland Police doens't come across this. Not only breaking the law there you clearly have no respect for the environment. Fraser Island is a world heritage listed site and now is included as a world biosphere (apart of the Great Sandy Biosphere). Your driving like a redneck, having a 'ball' thinking you can do what you like.
It's all the places the salt water got that you will NEVER get to clean ever with freshwater to stop it rusting like a slut. Within the next couple of months expect your exhaust to go first (catalictic converter woulda filled up, muffler and flange gasket), then the clutch will rust out, drum and disc break springs, then the chassey / wheel joing bearings and CV joints. Your little 30 seconds of fun in the surf will in the end cost you the car.
I wouldn't even givr you $100 for that car, I'd still make a loss. You seriously are an absolute IDIOT! I'm suprised your car is still alive. Once a car is exposed to at least 15+ seconds of salt water (or worse, SURF!) in this case.... the salt water gets into EVERYTHING! Inside the doors, inside engine seals, underneath screws/nuts/washers, it gets into every single nook and crannie on the car! Washing it down with an underbody wash / high pressure gearnys will do shit all.
certainly am having fun :) gonna go back to fraser in the next week or so i think. :D cars been pretty good since i bought it from you, just done random repairs - suspension, clutch, rear main seal, CVs, brakes etc. engines been strong and she takes a serving :P
loving the convertible factor for beach driving hehe
