Wow, I lived in Maadi for 5 yrs., in Digla. I hope you're paying no more then 1200le for this place...my flat cost me 1500 le a month and was really nice (initially my flat was 1200 but they raised they had raised the price after a year...this was in 2006). Anyhow, if you are already living in this flat, it need A LOT of work, and really the landlord should not have rented it until all the work was done...I think you got ripped off. Unless as I said, you are paying under 1200 le.

no dude that is how you live in cairo. I have seen better, but I hope you like your time there. I have a friend who live there and he live in el maadi and his flat is sooo nice.
