I was the main environment artist that worked on this game at Gremlin in 1997! ..and yes - you are correct. It was indeed rubbish. Don't be too harsh on us - we only had 6 months to develop it in!

@1787dude Glad you enjoyed it! The original LOADED was a lot better game, as I say - to develop RELOADED in 6 months was incredibly tough going. Too many rushed ideas being passed which ultimately made a pretty drab experience.. But at least a few people enjoyed it!

@althegamefreak Hey! I can't remember what happened to VOX. I still have the original artwork for ALL the characters for RL.. There were a FEW characters that never made it.. this cool looking Ghost Elvis Presley, Vox, (proper) FWANK) and 1 more.. (Some woman in shades with electricity from her fingers?.. also some firey woman with a backpack who could shoot fire from what I recall.!)

@BL1TZEN i loved both games :) my uncle gave them to me when i was 8 -10 ys old :D he's fkn crazy but i knew how to deal with that kind of games and so I played them :) At this time i went to school of course..and when they were holidays i still rised up at 6:00am to play this :D:D aah that was such a good time.. i loved that:)) thanks for working on memories i've got now :))

Another bloody success for PS1, anyone who didn't get to see games evolved really missed out on the excitement of the original concepts coming out in the games. These might seem simple but compare this game to Pac-Man, Excit-Bike(still kick ass games, real OG's haha) and you could see why these games where just as exciting as MW1-3, and the games coming out now.

Always wanted to play this after owning the first but the reviews weren't so great so I passed on it. Now that it's on PSN for $6 I might get it for my PSP. Still have my copy of Loaded on disc. The music was catchy and the cheats were difficult to enter. I think they should bring the series back.

And yeah, I find this game quite difficult. Much of this game relies on being able to dodge the laser attacks and outmaneuvering your foes. And finally, some of the "boss battles" are just plain difficult especially the boss at this level where you fight a ship that changes its attack patterns as you keep attacking it. Damn, it takes forever to bring that boss down.

Fwank is unlockable through a cheat code. Go to the character selection screen and highlight Mamma. Then, press the buttons in order:

L1, Circle, R1, Down, Down, R1, Circle, L1, L1. You should hear a sound and see a red skull overshadow Sister Magpie. Trust me, I have done this before and it works great!

Man, I hated this game. Without cheats it was practically impossible to survive for any length of time, especially on the level you were playing as there are so many enemies coming at you constantly.

However, with cheats a very enjoyable game, specifically the level where you get to blow up the bosses nipples!

The first Loaded was alright. It wasn't gold, but it was damned fun and quite satisfying even if at times it annoyed you. Reloaded was just plain shit.
