this guy was easy as hell. no defense and like 2 attack. and thye made such a big deal about him, too. I had a harder time with the Koopinator(The anti-social guy you battle before him) then him. But macho Grubbas EPIC music balanced it out. That theme and Tubba Blubbas them are right up there with Dedede.

Alot of games have 3 or 4 different boss themes to make the game seem a tad more original.

Paper mario screws them all up by giving EVERY single individual boss his/her own boss theme!

I thought he was the villain sending those threatening e-mails and the one syphoning the fighter's energy but the manager? Of all the people I meet in Glitzville the most unlikely person is the culprit. Never saw it coming. I thought it was the Rawk when I first played this chapter.

Yeah the assistant manager seemed suspicious as well but the Rawk was the king of the ring. He was aware of Mario trying to best him so it would make sense that he would pull some efforts to sabatoge Mario's chances of claiming the belt. The epic tease came when we learned that Rawk did deliver the poisoned cake and locked Mario in the Minor League room but did not send the death threat e-mails. I then knew someone else more dangerous lurked in the Gitz Pit.

@jmario232 I knew the Rawk Hawk disliked Mario, but he didn't really seem like the intelligent mastermind kind of person. I really began to suspect Jolene after the point where you see her leave the storage room with the unconcious fighters in it. I knew it wasn't going to be Rawk Hawk after the point where Yoshi says his star is a fake. I expected the real villain to have the Crystal Star and because his was a fake that eliminated the hawk.
