Oh my life!! I'm used to playing sf2 turbo on the snes and got my ass handed to me on a plate on ssf4 online. Now I know why, I was trying to do 2-3 times the number of movements. Thanks.
Holy Crap... This buffer system is intense compared to Tekken. The light bulb just flickered on and the cogs are turning. AWESOME explanation and tutorial
I've been in the training room for more than 1 hour but the Hadouken -> Super Haouken doesn't work the way you have described in your video... i only get out 2 normal hadoukens fired rapidly one after another. The only way for me to perform Hadouken -> Super Hadouken is going the complete motion qcf+HP 2x qcf+HP any suggestions?
The buffered shoryuken "DF > DF + P" is very underhanded. I've practiced this in training mode for awhile now and either its a lot harder than it looks and isn't worth the time mastering or keep trying and hope it comes out.
IMHO, I absolutely don't recommend learning it this way. I think there are some buffered motions not as easy as some people suggest.
Ive watched all the videos, thank you very much! :) as you said, you used Street Fighter IV and not the Super version for examples, and i Use Juri as a Character aswell as Chun-Li, and have been able to apply this knowledge from the Original Street Fighter characters into a Super Character only which is Juri along with combos, and tactics. Very helpful!
Can someone tell me how i can use moves which require you to move the control stick twice in the same direction. For example, if im ken, i can do a hadoken by swiping the analogue stick from the bottom to the right and any punch but on the command list it says you need to move the stick twice and i do that but in the end it comes out as a normal hadoken. Any help is appreciated...
This for me is going to change how I play the game entirely. Thankyou for putting the time and effort into these videos, definitely the best tutorial on youtube!
@gamerx112 anything involving a fighting game is better with a stick. it takes time to use one though. i cant use one for street fighter 4 worth shit but i hate using a controller for tekken 6 because i played with a stick and got used to it. it just takes time.
IMHO a fightstick is the best solution and is preferred by the vast majority of players. However, there are a few top level players that play very well with a gamepad, so use what works for you.
I had no idea I could do the input for a super or ultra in the air to do it as soon as I hit the ground. After I watched this and tried it out, I must have woken up the neighbors screaming "JESUS CHRIST, I CAN DO THAT!?"
Thank you for these videos, they've already been a big help.
Always been amazed at how fast all the people on Evo can input commands... come to find out they aren't! You have saved me a GIANT headache sir! I applaud you.
Thanks So Much i was trying to dee jay's trial where you have to combo the double sobat kick into the sobat carnival but i could not do it until i saw this tutorial liked and subbed.
I haven't been able to do a lp SDK - FADC - hp shaku with akuma for all my luck, and with this I finally got why and actually (luckily) did it on the first try! Thanks a ton!
Omg dude you just blew my fuckin mind! Thank you for this and your other videos. If you were in my vicinity I would totally hug you(If this comment offends you nohomo)
You have opened my eyes. My friend who is an arcade veteran of sf kept telling me never to do shortcuts or bufferong because I needed to learn the motions. But this makes so much sense. Thank you!
Very well done guides and very helpful. The only suggestion I would make is while you show the characters in action in training mode it would be helpful to have the inputs maybe displayed on the screen.
wow!!! the short cut for shoryuken helps alot!!! i've always done the forward > down-foward!!! thanks man!!! =D

@e3a2er Turn on input display too see if your motion input is 100% correct. If it is, you are probably doing it too slow.

can you buffer a dash after a focus attack cancel? i am referring to guy's ex hozanto fadc ultra 1.
my ultra always comes out to late and if i do it faster i mess up the inputs ...
so a very important thing would be to explain HOW u perform motions, buffers on a stick with square or octagonal gate
also i'd like to add that it's important to know how to do the full motion from holding forward or down back or neutral.
