  • wow!!! the short cut for shoryuken helps alot!!! i've always done the forward > down-foward!!! thanks man!!! =D

  • ugh i practice so much and i still suck at fighting games :(

  • YEEEESSSSS!

  • Wow I learned alot. Thanks a bunch mate.

  • great

  • when you cut to the training mode clips you should have had the inputs showing

  • Oh my life!! I'm used to playing sf2 turbo on the snes and got my ass handed to me on a plate on ssf4 online. Now I know why, I was trying to do 2-3 times the number of movements. Thanks.

  • Omg. Wow. Thank you so much Never knew about short cuts!

  • Holy Crap... This buffer system is intense compared to Tekken. The light bulb just flickered on and the cogs are turning. AWESOME explanation and tutorial

  • I've been in the training room for more than 1 hour but the Hadouken -> Super Haouken doesn't work the way you have described in your video... i only get out 2 normal hadoukens fired rapidly one after another. The only way for me to perform Hadouken -> Super Hadouken is going the complete motion qcf+HP 2x qcf+HP any suggestions?

  • @e3a2er Turn on input display too see if your motion input is 100% correct. If it is, you are probably doing it too slow.

  • personally i hate buffering..can someone tell me if you had to buffer in 3rd strike?

  • Wow, I am relieved! thank you for this wonderful series

  • whoa... my mind has just been blown... omg........... how have so many failed to mention this?

  • whoa... my mind has just been blown... omg........... how have so many failed to mention this?

  • tytytytytytytytytyyyyyyy

  • so all i have to do to do dudley's machine gun punches is db,f?

  • You really do deserve a medal. Its great when good players share their tips.

I have watched all your videos but this one is the game changer for us noobies!

  • Thanks for this video. It really opens up the game for me. It's retarded Capcom doesn't mention this in the game at all.

  • The buffered shoryuken "DF > DF + P" is very underhanded. I've practiced this in training mode for awhile now and either its a lot harder than it looks and isn't worth the time mastering or keep trying and hope it comes out.

IMHO, I absolutely don't recommend learning it this way. I think there are some buffered motions not as easy as some people suggest.

  • wow.....THIS IS AMAZING

  • Thanks, great info...this is going to help me sooooo much!

  • this is a revelation moment

  • Just, charge burffering has made me understand what the hell Guile players are doing. Thanks!

  • Ive watched all the videos, thank you very much! :) as you said, you used Street Fighter IV and not the Super version for examples, and i Use Juri as a Character aswell as Chun-Li, and have been able to apply this knowledge from the Original Street Fighter characters into a Super Character only which is Juri along with combos, and tactics. Very helpful!

  • God damn it !! thanks !!

  • Can someone tell me how i can use moves which require you to move the control stick twice in the same direction. For example, if im ken, i can do a hadoken by swiping the analogue stick from the bottom to the right and any punch but on the command list it says you need to move the stick twice and i do that but in the end it comes out as a normal hadoken. Any help is appreciated...

  • This for me is going to change how I play the game entirely. Thankyou for putting the time and effort into these videos, definitely the best tutorial on youtube!

  • Is it better with an arcade stick?

  • @gamerx112 anything involving a fighting game is better with a stick. it takes time to use one though. i cant use one for street fighter 4 worth shit but i hate using a controller for tekken 6 because i played with a stick and got used to it. it just takes time.

  • @gamerx112

IMHO a fightstick is the best solution and is preferred by the vast majority of players. However, there are a few top level players that play very well with a gamepad, so use what works for you.

  • wow thanks man, i keep learning a lot on these videos keep it up

  • Great movie series helps alot!

  • Thanks!

  • Did previous street fighters have this buffering as well? Some of Guile and Charlies charge Supers seem impossible.

  • Totally agree @ 0:52, I could have saved plenty of time.

  • Great tutorials, keep it up!

  • Nice tuts man well explained.

  • This is a godsend. Thank you, seriously.

  • I had no idea buffering existed. This is awesome.

  • How do charges come into play? Hopefully one of your other videos has the answer.

  • you are an angel sent from the heavens.

  • thanks mate, great guide, gotta say im still shit but i wanna be good.

  • Your voice is something epic! :D

  • Your such great help!

  • I think Tbird should do infomercials.

  • So the buffer system is why a lot of my moves did not activate or other moves were activated instead.

  • @SevereMalfunction7

or like me, you're just shit at street fighter!!!!

  • aaaaaaaah relief:D thanks for shortcut info my gameplay with arcade stick is rised to a upper level.:D

  • wow.

  • "Unless you were born next to an arcade" LOL:D

  • I had no idea I could do the input for a super or ultra in the air to do it as soon as I hit the ground. After I watched this and tried it out, I must have woken up the neighbors screaming "JESUS CHRIST, I CAN DO THAT!?"

Thank you for these videos, they've already been a big help.

  • Holy crap how has no one told me about this yet?

Always been amazed at how fast all the people on Evo can input commands... come to find out they aren't! You have saved me a GIANT headache sir! I applaud you.

  • This will definitely help out my friends, who I wanna encourage to get into fighters.

  • This is awesome. Thank you sir.

  • Thanks So Much i was trying to dee jay's trial where you have to combo the double sobat kick into the sobat carnival but i could not do it until i saw this tutorial liked and subbed.

  • Dude...Amazing. AMAZING!! This makes things so much easier...

    Thank you, Thank You!!

  • 5 stars! this should have been in the game manual

  • Really like your accent, you sound like a mad professor of Street Fighter!

    :O)

  • @istolethepack yeah he sounds like a professor at my university

  • @liluoke LMAO! XD

  • With this, you made my day. A million thanks!!!!!!

  • can you buffer a dash after a focus attack cancel? i am referring to guy's ex hozanto fadc ultra 1.

my ultra always comes out to late and if i do it faster i mess up the inputs ...

so a very important thing would be to explain HOW u perform motions, buffers on a stick with square or octagonal gate

also i'd like to add that it's important to know how to do the full motion from holding forward or down back or neutral.

  • thanks for taking the time to explain i really appreciate

  • Amazing work mate! (Btw i love that you sound like arnold schwartsnegger^^)

  • This tutorial is very much appreciated, it opens a whole new world :D

  • @IXIStricnineIXI

Yes, that's true but I have already corrected this a while ago with an annotation in the video...maybe you have turned them off ?

  • I believe that the shoryuken shortcut motion you have listed is wrong. It is actually df,d,df.

  • I haven't been able to do a lp SDK - FADC - hp shaku with akuma for all my luck, and with this I finally got why and actually (luckily) did it on the first try! Thanks a ton!

  • Omg dude you just blew my fuckin mind! Thank you for this and your other videos. If you were in my vicinity I would totally hug you(If this comment offends you nohomo)

  • You have opened my eyes. My friend who is an arcade veteran of sf kept telling me never to do shortcuts or bufferong because I needed to learn the motions. But this makes so much sense. Thank you!

  • Damn, did not know you could trigger supers like that.

  • I couldn't have done Zangief's trials without this. Thanks!

  • I can't believe they made the game this way, I had no idea. Thankyou for these videos! Just got my arcade stick, time to start training!

  • Can you discuss srk -> FADC -> ultra? I just can't seem to move fast enough. Does the srk shortcut give you more time to dash maybe?

  • Thanks for this. I wasn't born in an arcade.

  • Wow...this has been a huge help to me. Many, many thanks, bro!

  • seriously man, very nice work!

  • Comment removed

  • Are you serious dude??? Wow, I had no idea about this technique. Always had done things the unbuffered way. Thanks a ton!!!

  • Another great video - thanks TBird. As a total newbie, I'd love to see a very basic video on blocking and normal moves.

  • Very well done guides and very helpful. The only suggestion I would make is while you show the characters in action in training mode it would be helpful to have the inputs maybe displayed on the screen.

  • Well done...love you. (No homo) :D

  • never knew the half-cricle shortcut..

    good guide as usual TBird.

  • This video really helped man thanks, no where eles on the web or in guides has anyone metioned there a input shortcuts. thanks
