  • Hadeeth - The Prophet Muhammad said: "Allaah cursed the Jews and the Christians for taking the graves of their prophets as Masjids." --- Refer to the English Translation of Saheeh Bukhari, Book of Prayer, volume 1, Book 8, Hadeeth no: 427 & 428

In Islaam it is FORBIDDEN to take graves as mosques

In Islaam it is FORBIDDEN to worship created beings and objects.

In Islaam - The mosques are only for Allaah and ALL worship is only due to Allaah - Who is the sole Lord, Creator & Provider of all things

  • @azim8111 Sufis supplicate to people who died many centuries ago. For example Sufis pray/ dua/ invoke/ supplicate as follows: "O Chisti help me" - THIS PRAYER/ DUA IS SHIRK because it involves worship to a human being

Shias supplicate as follows: "O Alee help me" or "O Husain intercede for me" - AGAIN, THESE SHIA DUAS ARE ALSO SHIRK because they involve worshipping humans

Catholic Christians supplicate as follows: "O Jesus help me" or "O Mary intercede for me" - THIS IS ALSO SHIRK

  • @azim8111

HADEETH - The Prophet Muhammad said: "If you ask, ask of Allaah, and if you seek help, then seek the help of Allaah." [Tirmidthee, good and authentic]

HADEETH - The Prophet said: "Dua is worship". [SAHEEH (authentic) - Reported by Ahmad and the compilers of the Sunans].

The above 2 narrations imply that when a Muslim supplicates/ dua, then he should only call upon Allaah.

DUA is an act of worship, which can only be directed to Allaah.

  • @azim8111 You mentioned prostration (sujood) - Yes, Muslims only prostrate to Allaah - Who is the only Lord, Creator and Provider of all things.

Prostration (sujood) is an act of worship, so it must only be directed to Allaah because in Islaam, ALL acts of worship can only be directed to Allaah.

The SAME goes for DUA (supplication/ invocation) - This can only be directed to Allaah (eg: "O Allaah cure me") because DUA is an act of worship.

  • @azim8111 Sufis, Shias, Christians, Hindus and others worship created beings by supplicating/ dua to them - That is Shirk (polytheism/ associating partners with Allaah), because all of the aforementioned people give a share of their worship to others besides Allaah, by invoking created beings when they perform DUA/ supplication/ invocation.

BUT IN ISLAAM - We only supplicate to Allaah because DUA/ supplication is an act of worship and ONLY THE CREATOR (Allaah) deserves to be worshipped

  • @azim8111 As-salaamu alaykum. The issue of Tawheed (monotheism) and Shirk (polytheism) is NOT an issue of 'Wahhaabis'. Rather this is an issue of Islaam.

In Islaam, we can only worship Allaah - That is Tawheed.

But the Mushrikeen (polytheists) worship created beings and objects - That is Shirk.

Shirk is the worst sin in Islaam.

In Islaam it is FORBIDDEN to worship Prophets, Angels, the pious dead/ saints, idols, the sun, the moon, stars or any other created being or object.

  • big graves.. music.. dirty beggars.. crocodiles for blessings... is called hinduism but now it has become sufism.. may ALLAH protect us from shirk..

  • i always thought mungopir was a beautiful park with a shrine and a lake but this is some dirty urban place :/ if it's so holy, why don't you keep it clean?????? and there are so many crocs living in that little place, what if they BUST OUT or something, they could kill people :s upar say itna ganda paani hay, bicharay.

  • Does anybody know what the writing on the wall INSIDE the crocodile enclosure says? And what language it is written in? And how it got written there, inside so high up?

What are the three flags on top of the shrine?

  • @tariq921000 Let us be merficul to each other, for we are all Muslims- Brothers upon faith. We love for each other that which we love for ourselves

The saved sect and the path to salvation is the path of the Prophet Muhammad and His Companions

The Companions did NOT supplicate to the Prophet- NO

That means that once the Prophet died, the Companions did NOT ask the Prophet for anything

Rather, the Companions were monotheists, who worshipped Allaah, alone and thus supplicated to Allaah, alone

  • @tariq921000

QUR'AAN - Verily, you (O Muhammad) will die and verily, they (too) will die. (Az-Zumar 39:30)

So Allaah tells us that the Prophet Muhammad will die.

The Muslims love the Prophet and he is the best of all Prophets. He came with religion of truth, such that there is NO religion except the religion of Islaam, which the Prophet taught us.

The Prophet Muhammad is the ultimate guide for humanity.

BUT - That does NOT mean we can ask the Prophet for help.

  • @tariq921000 did u see me calling anyone mushrik , what ur talking about, BUT IF U BELIVE IN SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN ALLAH , IF U BELIVE THAT SOME DEAD PERSON WHO WASNT STRONG ENOUGH TO EVEN SAVE HIS OWN SOULD FROM DEATH COULD HELP YOU THEN U COMMITED SHIRK,

  • Yes, we should never go to the graves of other human beings to ask for something that only Allah can give us. Why not worship that one Allah who is the master of all? Why do we beg before His creation?

  • @Khayyamally WHY U PEOPLE ASK YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER FOR MONEY AND FOOD.IF YOU ARE ASKING TO YOUR MOTHER, FATHER ,FRIENDS FOR SOMETHING THEN IT IS ALSO A SHIRK.

  • My dear brothers and sisters in Islaam, the worst thing to affect our Muslim Ummah is that people worship other than Allaah. There are now places where people go to shrines built above graves and there they worship the dead by calling upon / dua / supplicating to the dead - Indeed this is Shirk and expels from Islaam.

Another evil matter that has affected the Muslim Ummah is terrorism - the targetting of innocent people - This is forbidden (haram).

I hope we can love each other as brothers.

  • @TM15C yes u r right :)

  • @TM15C

    Ameen

  • @TM15C I totally agree with you. I was reading an article on the news which said, "people from the sheedi community must offer the Mor Sahib a goat's head, along with the sweets and meat, to ensure the sacred crocodile continues to bless them all year round." Like our muslim ummah has come to a stage where it has to offer sacrifice so that an animal can bless them.

  • @TM15C This is totally false this person seems wahhabi (hypocrites). He does not mention any name of place where such worship take place nor any name of person who do such worship. This person denied the fact that Mohammad Bin Qasim rehmatullah aleyh fought against hindus and his soldiers buried in one of the biggest grave yard Makli near Thatta Sindh Pakistan. Where there are so many shrines built above graves for all those soldiers who martyred war against Hindus.

  • @TM15C @TM15C Wahhabi believes that Allah possess organs like human being (ibn temia). Therefore they believe that Allah also had buried in grave. No Muslim prostrate (dua) to saints but only to Allah. Saints are not like dead. They are above like martyrs, Quran says that those who died in the way of Allah are alive (Surah Baqra, Ale Imran).

  • @TM15C you are a ghair muqalid.and a terrorist.

  • If a person worships other than Allaah by supplicating / dua to other than Allaah, then that person has committed Shirk (polytheism / associating partners with Allaah).

Shirk is the worst sin in Islaam and expels from Islaam.

Those who pray to / dua to the dead are Mushrikeen (polytheists/pagans).

However, ignorance can be an excuse and our Lord (Allaah) is fair to all His creatures. Some people simply have not read about Tawheed & Shirk, such as the poor people from small villages.

  • Therefore my brothers and sisters in Islaam, I have presented proofs on these pages which show that all DUA is to Allaah alone and that shrines above graves are forbidden (haram) in Islaam.

At these shrines people pray to / invoke / dua to the dead. (eg: "O Chisti help me" or "O so and so cure me" - THESE DUAS ARE SHIRK.

Why is it Shirk? Because in Islaam all acts of worship can only be to Allaah. Dua is an act of worship, so dua to other than Allaah is the worship of other than Allaah.

  • It is clear from these trustworthy hadiths, that dua / invoking / supplicating is an act of worship.

That means that DUA can only be sought from Allaah - THAT IS THE WORSHIP OF ALLAAH ALONE - Tawheed (monotheism).

Therefore, if a person prays to / dua to other than Allaah, then that person has worshipped other than Allaah - THAT IS SHIRK (polytheism)

Shirk is the worst sin in Islaam and expels from Islaam.

Tawheed (singling out Allaah alone for worship) is the foundation of Islaam.

  • HADITH - The Prophet Muhammad said: "If you ask, ask of Allaah, and if you seek help, then seek the help of Allaah." [Tirmidthee, good and authentic]

HADITH - The Prophet said: "Dua is worship". [SAHEEH (authentic) - Reported by Ahmad and the compilers of the Sunans).

HADITH - The Prophet said: "Whosoever dies whilst making du’aa (invocation, supplication) to others besides Allaah, will enter the Hellfire." [Related by al-Bukhaaree (no. 4297), from Ibn Mas’ood]

  • HADITH - The Prophet said: "Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their Prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as Masjids; I forbid you to do that." Refer to the English Translation of Saheeh Muslim for the complete Hadeeth, Chapter 47: Forbiddance to build Masjids on the Graves & decorating them with pictures and forbiddance to use graves as Masjids: Book 4: Hadeeth no: 1083.

  • HADITH - The Prophet Muhammad said: "Allaah cursed the Jews and the Christians for taking the graves of their Prophets as Masjids." -- Refer to the English Translation of Saheeh Bukhari, Book of Prayer, volume 1, Book 8, Hadeeth no: 427 & 428.

  • Proof regarding the prohibition of building on graves:

From Jaabir bin Abdullaah who said that the Messenger of Allaah prohibited plastering of the graves and sitting upon it and building upon it. This hadeeth is in Kitaab ul-Janaaiz 2/667 in Muslim.

Therefore, it is clear that shrines above graves are FORBIDDEN (HARAM) in Islaam.

Many of these shrines have Sufi & Shia origins and have NOTHING to do with Islaam.

  • Proof regarding levelling graves:

From Abu Al-Hayaaj Al-Asadiy who said Ali ibn Abi Taalib said to me "I am dispatching you upon what the Messenger dispatched me upon, that, "you do not leave statues except you deface it nor a grave raised except you level it" This hadeeth is in Kitaab ul-Janaaiz 2/666 in Muslim.

In fact graves should NOT be higher than a handspan of the surrounding area.

Graves like the one in this video are FORBIDDEN in Islaam.

  • Islaam FORBIDS building mosques or shrines above graves.

    Islaam also FORDIDS raised graves.

It is the duty of the Islaamic government to remove shrines that are built above graves and to keep graves away from mosques.

Why does Islaam orders this? Because at these shrines people pray to the dead. They ask the dead for help in their prayers / duas / supplications - THIS IS AN ACT OF SHIRK.

Why is it Shirk? Because DUA as an act of worship which can only be directed to Allaah.
