I can't believe this game - which is more than 2 decades old - was smart enough to incorporate weight detection (no gorilla pressing Andre!), but WWE Legends of Wrestlemania, released just a couple of YEARS ago, had no weight detection. Nada. Zip. What a joke.

This game had to have come out later than 1986. Ted Dibiase, Big Bossman, and the Ultimate Warrior weren't in the WWF till 1987/88

Download MAME32 (Mame for windows). Then download Wrestlefest ROM. Stick the Wrestlefest ROM in the ROM folder in MAME32 and then start up MAME32. Hit F5 when Mame is running and then go to AVAILABLE GAMES.

I think it was the colors that made this game so addictive... plus being way ahead of its time.

The Boss man is the only that's mainly different (can do the headbutt on Andre, and has his Sidewalk slam you can do over and over, and Hacksaw (you can't reverse the Bulldog, but you have to be facing away from the ropes)

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper was "retired" by this time, making movies in Hollywood. And Rick Rude had just started and wasn't taken seriously so that's why.

Ever try this move?...head butt Andre with the Boss Man or headlock punch him with Honky Tonk. Then tag in one of the other wrestlers than can do a drop kick from the top rope. When Andre gets up, he'll be dazed. You can drop kick him across the ring.

Good stuff. I had almost forgotten how horrible the voice samples were. Though Andre actually says "No one can beat Mega Bucks!" in the promo, as a kid, it sounded to me like "No one can beat me up!"
