@GnarDog61 i agree with theyre both for fun but and i hate when people say stuff like "play a real guitar" as it is a game for fun, but to say there is no difference is a bit much lol, (I play both guitar and guitar hero) and in guitar i had to learn chords notes and styles of playing so it takes a lot more time to learn how to play a guitar and it is a great thing to do, but guitar hero isnt designed for that i think it is for everyone so even if you cant play guitar you can have fun playing it
