Its described as a ethno-religious group however Judaism accepts converts and that convert will be as Jewish as any born Jew as long as done by Jewish law. Therefore Jews can't be a race. Judaism is the way into the religion, people and nation. Incidentally, a convert to Judaism is treated better and should be respected more than a born Jew. I'm an Israeli born Jew.
