they blame him for inventing 'a death ray' which is actually a laser. the real weapon of mass destruction was not only invented, but he help built the atomic bomb - the celebrated humanitarian, Albert Einstein who said that the real honour is to serve humanity. WE DO know (Or at leats, I DO) that the "Dead Beam" was not a Laser, it was a Particle Weapon. Why? Simple.

When Tesla put out to the air that he made such weapon, research upon particles (Such as Electrons and Protons) was taking place in his lab. Tesla didn't have much interest into LIGHT, nor its amplification, he was interested in the pure form of electical energy. good point that boxa888 brings to our attention a very suspicous fact.

if he would be the man that would have taken his money that he deserved he would not be the same man i think money corrupts and he knew that his only goal was to achieve prosperety for all and not for 1 person or group thats why most of his inventions are in use and in almost everything we take for granted.

a person that wants to make money as its goal will not make world prosperity.

Well,I was thinking once about who would make the best role of Tesla in an eventual epic movie about him and came to a conclusion that the best actor for that role should be no one else but Ralph Fiennes.He totally resembles Tesla.Whenever i see him in some role,he always reminds me of how Tesla looked.Just put moustache on him and make some good acting transformation(and Ralph is very good at it) and you will have the perfect Tesla role.I don't think that Liam Neeson is a bad choice either.

I could see Liam Neeson as Tesla too. I think a Tesla bio-pic has the same thing going for it as all the recent superhero films - -finally the technology exists to bring to life Tesla's incredible inventions and visions. I watched a video on youtube about Nikola Tesla, it was fantastic. I followed a link to a web site with information on buying the book. I will be buying the book. I just wanted to tell you thank you for not letting this information go into the future unseen. I'll bet nearly 100 years could have been different if some of his unseen work hadn't been taken away. im sure he was threaten by the powers back then. i always wonder about that too, he could have used his investments to achieve his success and at the same time help people. i also wonder why there are no videos of him, especially his demonstations, that pisses me off, i swear "they " burned them, there is video of einstein,marconi,westinghouse,­edison,presidents of the same era and no video of tesla!! they really did hide him.
