yeah, apple still does support 1st and 2nd generation ipods to itunes. all you need to do is plugg in the ipods to computer and it will automatically do it by itself. hope i helped

i thought the 1st generation only worked with macs. I just got a 2nd gen for that exact reason.

well, it originally did because back in 2001 itunes was a mac only application (since jobs wanted it to be a mac only item). as time went by in 2003 itunes came to pc. with the newer versions of itunes, its now possible to have a first generation ipod on a pc (you just have to update the ipod software, but kills the original menu it had in 2001 in exchange for the menu we now know)

Dragonball Z was playing in the background right? lol. The first iPod would be cool, except it's really hard to try to make work with PCs.

the first ipod is a breeze to use on pc, unlike the second generation (its giving me a living hell at the moment)
