Very interesting video.

I have noticed that association and visualization works wonders for me. The crazier the association, the better.

Say you want to remember bread, milk and eggs....

Visualize as vividly as possible something like balancing a loaf of bread on your head while drinking milk from the jug and throwing eggs at people as you leave the store.

OK maybe that's not the best example but I think you will get the point.

Very true my friend. The power isn't in what we believe, it is in THAT we believe. That genie of our lives (our very own subconscious) will always put on the screen of our lives what we believe to be true. It is in figuring this out that man has graduated from instinctive man to thinking man. People who fail to understand this are more susceptible to feeling like their lives are controlled than feeling in control of their lives. Even though it is an illusion it is real to them.

I agree with you even though I have above average intellegence, when I'm around people of lesser intellegence I taper down my intellegence because I have never like showing off to someone of lesser intellegence because I don't want people to think I'm conceited. But I love to test my memory, because as you get older you tend to lose some of your memory if you don't keep your brain active doing memory exercises.

actually mind map...is for people to undertand...between teori and practical...if you doesen't use it then you are not going too understand what is it..so if you want to understand it just try too follow what he has said..START with a SMALL step..then move too NEXT step and next after that till you understand how too use it...

use colured pens to write and study important info.use numbers to stand for common letters for instance the word body =111,any word associated with the human body would start with the number 1,ex.brain=112 eyes=113,etc.cars=211 car engine =212,this can work well when studing for exams

What is imagination. My opinion is that it  is not simply a construct of the amalgamation of memories in the subconscious. I have had inventions occur in my mind during dreams that are no way constructions of memory. I believe that during dreams we access a cosmic mind that is either an internet of all minds that are alive or have ever lived or it is an intelligence of a higher being or perhaps it is both. So I ask what is imagination?

dude, thank god for this smart-ass. because of what i learned, i passed a class that i would have otherwise failed. If we couldn't memorize the locantions of 100 countries on a map, we would fail the class. I spent 3 hrs studying, and failed, i spent 1hr with his techniques, and passed awesomely

Mind Mapping techniques are really great. When I became hooked on them I did everything on large sheets of paper and used many colors. This is so silly but in my country I've heard of many people comparing these techniques to the activities for the mentally impaired.
