i must confess that in the beginning it was a bit difficult for me because i am used to the other way to stereoscopy. instead of looking "front" of the image i used to look "inside" the image....
Great Video! I love creating Stereocopy images and see how many of friends cn actually see the middle 3D image :) It amazes me how many people just can't do or see these.. That has got to suck! *GOOD WORK!!
@djshawn5678 I think everyone who has two eyes can see these images ;-) If somebody says they can't, it's just because they need to try more times. Believe me! It took me years to get the hang of it!! And I could only do the cross-eyed method at first. The only book I had at the time didn't explain that there were two methods, and I always thought that there was something funny in the images. The problem was that I was using cross-eyed with a book meant to be seen with the parallel method.
You make a video twice, and the second time you move the camera about 6.5 centimeters (0.2 feet) to the right to make the second video. That way you have stereoscopy.
It was done on purpose! hehehe! As this animation were show on big screen, we hear lot's of people yeiling at this point in time! It's bit painful I admit, but we were curious to see how an audience would react using a white-fade. I think a black fade with a pause would have not create this drastic transition.
k but i want to know how to make a movie of my own into stereoscopic but how can you do that with windows movie maker? unless you know a better program???
I don't know windows movie maker, but I think this software allow you to do video montage. You will need a special lens to your camcorder in order to get half frame left eye, half frame right eye which is called 3d lens-in-a-cap.
we create a normal 3d scene and you control 2 cameras instead of only one. After rendering the 2 clips you compose them...
However, as some has notice, one of the animation got swap... We made that video to enter a competition in which we got notify only a week before the deadline. Our PC was soo slow to render at that time (including rendering composition) that most of the time was spend to render rather than being to work on it.
The rotating humanoid figure is reversed so pseudoscopic if viewed cross eyed. That section works for parallel viewing. Other sections work well cross eyed. You shouldn't confuse your viewers like this.
only if you cross you eyes too much. Make sure you are far enough away from the screen, and you should be able to cross your eyes to view 100% safely.
Has the finger to be close to the screen or closer to your nose???

If it hurts you could be straining your eye muscles to much.

I find it odd that it switches back and forth between cross-eyed and parallel.
