All people who have the Ipad think its better than the Xoom for the simple idea that they live in their little world that what they own is better than any other product without even trying other things... Yes the Ipad was the original tablet, but the phone, pc, sound systems, and other things were not created by Apple, so they are barely original products. The Iphone is just a Palm,sme touch ability, mp3 ability and some even have apps. Apple is not the best, not even their original dieas.

I have never used xoom but I was playing with an Ipad2 for more than 4 weeks - I don't think it is that great and certainly not worth the cash Apple asks for it.There are obviously good points like build quality,battery life, idiot-proof OS (that's probably why you like it so much) or good camera but I have not found it very special.It's just an expensive tablet with a lot of cons - low power, flash,'off' button,poor sound,lack of expansion sockets,average screen etc..

@sloergod :) yes, laggy but it seems the motorola has a few applications running in the background, try that with an ipad. Also, the colors look wash out on xoom because of the angle used while recorded the video.

After several weeks deliberating and vast amount of research I settled on a XOOM. No regrets whatsoever-easy to use, easy to transfer movies and music onto the device via micro sd. It reconises most video formats without the hassle of transferring into a readable format as with apple devices (I have an itouch and always found this a hassle and time consuming).
