es una lastima que estos carros hubieran llegado al pais literalmente huerfanos. al poco tiempo de la importacion Parra Arango cerró y los carros quedaron al garete. a proposito, que sabe de la vida del carrito?

@Mercadonaman Era algo típico de los Citroën de la época, ya que el calor y el paso del tiempo se encargaba de estropearlos así.

Was ist denn das für ein Trottel ? Es gehört grünes LHM darein und nicht rotes LHS und wenn die Hydraulikanlage undicht ist , nützt das Gasgeben nix . Der kommt nie hoch . Alles ablassen , reinigen , reparieren und LHM rein . Dann kommt der GSA auch wieder hoch !

Muy bueno el GSA X3 yo le hice un overhaulin completo hace 6 años,funciono perfecto por años hasta que me convencieron comprarlo. de hecho solo me quedan algunas piezas pequeñas y el manual de taller completo.

aki en españa las bombas hidraulicas de la suspension y frenos se mandan a reconstruir , es decir ke mandando a españa la bomba hidraulica vieja la reparan las dsejan como nuevas y las esferas de la suspension y los acumuladores centrales igual , si la averia es esa podria yo ponerte en contacto con una empresa ke las arregla

It seems to be leaking hydraulic oil. Not so expencieve to fix but if there is conventionall DOT4 brake fluid or some other hydraulic oil och fluid, it's a very hard work to fix it. Only LHM or LHM+ in the system!! You can surley import it from Europe or Asia if it's not avalible in South America. 5L and change it at 120000km or every 6 years. I drive an XM and has owned a CX once upon a time. GSA a sweet little car :)

No one here knows about what fluid to use, neither the parts fot the GSA citroen...thanks for the comments, I will search for the LHM; the person who deliver the car, he gived it to me with red hydraulic fluid...

@jnsjorge I don't know what it's like in your country but in France and I guess around the world, the red fluid is called LHS (Liquide Hydraulique Synthétique) and is extremely corrosive so Citroën replaced it with the LHM (Liquide Hydraulique Minéral), a green fluid which is more stable at high temp. and is not corrosive. I use this fluid in my DS 23IE.

Seriously, if the hydraulic system is filled with brake fluid or something else, you can throw away the car, the repairs would be extremely costly since every part in the system needs replacement. the green "LHM" (Liquide Hydraulique Minerale) is the fluid which MUST BE USED, AND NOTHING ELSE!

Why is there RED fluid coming out of the hydraulic system, when it should be GREEN!!

There are 2 types of hydraulic oil for Citroën : LHS (Liquide Hydraulique Synthétique) and LHM (Liquide Hydraulique Minéral). The 1st one is red and the 2nd one is green (so are the bottles). The LHM is more recent and less corosive for the hydraulic circuit. I think the GSA can work with the green LHM.

You must use green LHM in this car, LHS was used till the late sixties in the DS ...

Fix the leaks and start enjoying this rare car

That's right, LHS was red and VERY corrosive. I had a DS and had to change every part of the hydraulic circuit and put LHM.

I know what you feel... I have a Mercedes-Benz 300D of 1978 with 600000km and now it has some problems and it's too expensive to maintenance it ok  :(

That car has been a reference for future cars and there won't be any car similar to that

That's a nice car, a pity you can't find anyone able to repair it in your country.

What are the problems? It's seems to have an hydraulic leak at the suspension LHM circuit and a broken engine mount.
