Just want to commend you for a very good job,and brave thing to do to make this video,I'm a stutterer myself, have been all my life, not a severe stutterer but a stutterr none the less. Good job, your an inspiration .

From Wikipedia: "A patulous Eustachian tube is a rare condition, in which the Eustachian tube remains intermittently open, causing an echoing sound of the person's own heartbeat, breathing, and speech. This may be temporarily relieved by moving into a position where the head is upside down." I hope that I'm clear as to how I did? it. You can overcome this:-)
With practice you'll be able to speak normally without pushing out the syllable so? hard, and it will eventually be normal speech. If you find yourself slipping back to stuttering after getting rid of it, then just remember to push it out the word you want to say, and don't beat yourself up about it. Additionally, have your Eustachian tube checked to see you might have had/have "A patulous Eustachian tube."
Push it out just like you're singing and you'll find that your mind won't be able to analyse what you're saying, and therefore you won't have feedback. It's going to seem rather awkward at first, but it's better than stuttering. In order to get? the correct pressure of your breath out, you should just put your hand in front of your mouth and feel the differences of sounds you don't have a problem with compared to the ones that you do.
Stuttering is basically feedback from you analysing everything that you're saying. Stick your fingers really tightly into your ears so you can't hear yourself talk, and then talk, and you'll find that you'll be able to with little to no problems. Also, try singing and you'll find that you won't? have difficulty saying words and syllables that you normally have problems with.
I used to stutter when I was younger for about 3 months until I figured out how stop it. I taught it to a friend of mine in university who stuttered very, very badly, and after that he hardly stutters at all.
I live in Argentina. I've stuttered my whole life. The other day there was this girl, and asked for my phone number. I gave her a piece of paper with the number on it. She said, "mmm, ok, but, it's strange..." I felt like fuck...
I'd be glad to hear from you, and I propose this. I'd like to form, set up, start, (my English, help!) a Stuttering group... FaceBook? What d'you think? We could start something there. Hearing offers, I am... ¡See you, my YouTube friends! (I feel alone at this)
I really admire your courage in making this video. I'm 20 and when I was younger my stuttering was really bad, I used to stutter in every sentence. It slowly disappeared, because I accepted it. But it only occurs when I'm talking infront of big crowds and when I'm reading out aloud and it's embarassing especially in school and college. I went to go and apply for a job in a bank yesterday and I had to do a speech, unfortunately my stuttering came back and I lost my confidence.
Listen, and what I'm about to say is not only for you, but intended for ME and everybody. We do need help, but from OURSELVES. There are Stuttering-oriented sites all over the world, charities, auto-help Groups, etc,, etc.... Nothing... Do we really need help? Otherwise, it leads me to the thought that all we want is "ok, you stutter, you're different..." Come on, guys! Did you really listen to me in this recording?! I'm talking, for God's sake! We should do something, and I'm available...!!!
Do not feel that way! I am a stutterer and, whether it is part of me or not, I love it. "Befriend your enemy". As soon as we realise stutteriing "is not much an issue" it's just gone...
Besides, stutterers are much smarter people than non-stutterers, he he...
Thanks, mydogig3... Your words are so encouraging and many more videos are to come, really, promise... What about you? Are you one of us having a hard tongue? He he, we have to accept it: we're stutterers, but not aliens, he he... Ok, thanks again... Bye!
