  • @yoshielectron there has got to be a mixture of codes relating to the coin ones that can make things come out like Bob-ombs or Snifits or something like that.

  • @pricesspaige1991 Usually because there isn't enough memory, there can be no more than 240 objects in a level.

  • @yoshielectron I got another question is there a reason why you can't spawn certain objects in a level? Like for instance if you try to spawn a Thwomp in Jolly Roger Bay it will look like a Oyster cause the 58 graphic ID makes the graphic look like a Oyster in Jolly Roger Bay! So why don't you make a code I can add on the bottom of the code line for the spawn code or the debug spawn code so if I spawn a certain object in a level it will look like another graphic instead of the game crashing!

  • @pricesspaige1991 This is a limit of the game; only certain graphics are loaded in certain levels. Each graphic is assigned an ID value which is used for a different graphic in some levels.

  • @yoshielectron But the thing is that the water ups are made for water LOL , so the game will search the height of the water ! Then it spawns on the water surface , not the ground one , so it makes you have absolutely nothing near ya but , it can be fun to watch when you ground pound on water , it's like a bomb water impact. anyway I wanted to add , it can be done by anywho xD take the Address lines and add

    Behaviour offset value on 3510 and GFX ID on 00CD then you got Spawn code like. XD

  • @MetalSwordwind It works , until you don't ground pound into water that would be not too high so it would make explosions BUT , 1 explosion makes "ram-o-matic" bubles that will tend to make you crash if you make a very big number of them , so.... better not explode underwater , see ? It totally crash up the game.

    I did other codes with your behaviour values page, blue coins and so on , one which could deceive you is the Water Up splash [Adding second part]

  • @TheLuigiRocks it could be that the castle walls are a background object that hasn't any colour values but the coding in the game does collision with background codes so he could not walk through it or other similar things

  • Wow! Could you improve the code by making the castle textures gold, in the same way that the coin's texture is actually silver, then recolored.

  • @TheLuigiRocks The coins use a grey textured that is coloured as needed, the castle doesn't as far as I know.

  • is it possible to make a code that allows the coin counter to go higher than 999? it would be a lot of fun using it with all your other coin codes to see just how many coins we could collect.

    a code for a coin counter outside of levels would be awesome too.

  • That should be possible since the coin variable can hold over 65000.

  • Did you use the right version PAL/NTSC?

  • i used PAL, PAL has always been working before, not NTSC.

  • If you are using emulator it's likely you have NTSC ROM. After loading the ROM check File->Rom Info to see the country. USA=NTSC.
