Its too bad they didn't rebuild Big Thunder Falls when it needed it. They could still do it if they develope all that area not used at present. They had a weight limit for riding the mules but some people would not recognize it.
This clip shows bits of my Favorite Disneyland Attraction.....The Natures Wonderland Mine Train Ride thru Painted Desert. This ride was closed when I was 10 yrs old and I'm 41 now so my memories are sketchy but I remember enough to know I loved it. To all who never saw the attraction live , enjoy the trip thru Natures Wonderland

those buldings that the gunfight takes place on are now part of the town on the big thunder mountain attraction.

I'm always surprised that they let the "bad guy" go up into the forced perpective area during the gunfight.

All the matchless greatness of Frontierland was laid waste at the fear of all the WHOOPIE rides at local Magic Mountain. Thrill rides.
The people at Disney forgot what Walt knew; that romance is also an adventure and a thrill, and the best kind.
Big Thunder Mountain was the beginning of the end of real adventure at Disneyland.

The mule ride...LOL!! The mules got in a kicking and biting fight. We loved it. Can you imagine the liability now..OMG!!!
