Although I do not believe that there is anything wrong with moving on since the vast majority of Bengalis are already doing so, I do believe that Pakistani government should be held accountable for their actions and should pay monetary war reparations for their crimes. Large amounts of money are owed for the people killed and buildings destroyed, etc. This money can obviously be greatly beneficial to Bangladesh.
No point in truly moving on until the money is paid and the damage is repaired.

We also have to factor into the fact that right after our independence the country went through long periods of inflation, famine, hunger and to top that many countries stil did not recognize us as an independent state. Our mills, banks, roads, bridges were all destroyed. I think we for a country which has gone through so much we have emerged nicely. But nonetheless we have a lot of work to do still.
