@brinbois I think it is, at least for now. Another website called corollaowners was made if you want to check it out. 9thgen was the best tho, kinda sucks.
@TheWarren1990 Hey buddy. Its actually the honeycom 's' grill. I put the xrs emblem over the 's'. I bought mine off ebay actually. Checkout the vuteq grill. I like that one a lot as well.
@memin1421 Hey man. You will need the power fc for the celica gt-s and a wiring harness. Check out 9thgencorolla. You can find the harness there from redliner9k.
K20 are sick engines and everything but the 2zz vvtl-i is better be cuz of the lift and the engine just has alot to offer as well does the k20 but I'm a Rolla type of guy I own a type s hoping to get a xrs soon tho
@magusownz it probably sounds like a weedwacker WITHOUT a muffler then.Nothing beat's the sound of a supercharged ,V8 with a big cam in it.Detroit Muscle
my buddy has one of thes, his is pushing 220 hp atw. his mods are exhauste, intake, port and polished heads, machined heads for more compression, arp head studs, stage 3 cams, and titanium valve train (springs, retainers and such), its bad ass, 36 noise polution tickes in one month and in that month 7 noise polution tickets in one day! (with a 19 inch resonator and muffler, and not a straight through muffler!!!
@GinoJerry86 why would anyone put thousands of dollars into a 4cyl car,and think their car sound's badass and fast enough to keep up with an 8cyl muscle car,and that annoying oversized coffee can muffler that sound's exactally like my craftsman gas weedwacker,I'll never get it ???????????
@GMurphSC06GT these people like these types of cars. let them do what they want... do u see me complaining about why people but shitty good for nothing muscle cars? no, cause i couldnt give 2 shits...
0.2L difference is hardly different, and very comparable. However, the K20 will put down closer to 210-215whp with rh/i/ 3" exhaust and a tune all day. The reason the Corolla is competitive is because it weighs less, plain and simple. At the end of the day, mod for mod, the K20 will put down more hp and tq throughout the entire rpm range when compared to a 2zz, no debating.
thats right... k20 is stronger and have few more hp (like 15 more whp NOT THAT MUCH ONLY CUZ ITS A 2.0L)but in a race the lighter car will win... thats why Xrs and Si/Rsx-s are pretty even... not hating I own a Xrs and here in Puerto Rico are the best 2zz N/A ever 210 whp+ and a lot of Si/Rsx-s 215 whp they're both are gr8 cars
@TorqueJumper yeah, but I;ve seen a corolla xrs doing 15.3 @ 92.5 mph stock, and i've seen a stock spec v (believe or not) doing a massive 15.2 @ 89.9 mph here in Puerto Rico. It also depends on the driver. I know corollas dont do a good 1/4 mile cause of their fist 2 gears, they're like heavy, you know, and when it comes to high end, corolla have lots of it. and corollas dont have shit of torque, lol
@TorqueJumper yeah, I do understand what you're saying about my quarter mile, but look at the miles a spec v can put on a 1/4 mile. (88 to 89 mph) while a stock corolla can put 90 through 93 miles on the 1/4 mile) I dynoed my car at 4th gear, and people, you must know that not all cars will ever dyno the same. The 2zz ge engine can dynoed from 155 whp to 166 whp stock. All of you must get your facts straight. And yes, I do know that dyno reading are inconsistent.
@TorqueJumper wait, he did what? My corolla xrs with just an intake and exhaust made 176.89 whp SAE corrected. And I remeber my car stock made 166.01 whp SAE corrected and was completely stock!
Our car doesn't like 3inch much and plus that's way to loud. I'm getting an electronic cutout to put after my header. So I can have the loud and quick when I want it.
yeah don't be mad. I posted all the info you just over read it. And I have the 190whp sae dyno, I just didn't post it up. This dyno is old as well. I made over 190whp now sae corrected. And 3inch exhaust doesn't help power on a stock internal 2zz.
LOL you have me for a fool. Maybe if you look under the info section you will see all this that I wrote..
My XRS with intake, header, exhaust, apexi pfc - street tuned. It made 195.31whp. Sorry no tq or rpm reading and if anyone is interested made 190.04whp on SAE correction.
So pretty much what your saying is hes on a mustang dyno or something that reads nice and low, or his setup is shit. I made more that that with just cai/e on my car. On a dynojet though.
yeah bro I have all the top of the line 2zz parts. ppe 3inch intake, ppe custom race header, 2.5inch exhaust mandrel bent header-back. I tune my own car with apexi pfc. A stock xrs makes ~150whp on a dynojet.
Yes bro. I just read your last 3 comments and you need to do some more research on the 2zz.. And just a week ago I went back to the dyno and made 197whp and should be making even a few more now.
My buddy has a bone stock type r with the same hp. He wants to race a fast xrs since he hasn't been beat by one. Check out our vids "moreland racing atl"
Nice :) If you aren't gonna port your stock manifold are you gonna get the DD Performance manifold? With a tune you'd be making around 220 to the wheels, easy. I'd love to see either option happen and the results you get :)
That's a pretty sick idea! I never thought about the PPE manifold. The DD Performance manifold is extremely expensive, but you get what you pay for I guess. Whatever works man, go for it. I'm mad pumped to see what happens.
whats the intake header exhaust brands?
uhsen 1 month ago
@uhsen ppe 3inch intake, ppe custom race header, 2.5inch mandrel bent exhaust

@magusownz a lot of people are hitting 170 with intake header exhaust combo, how did you hit another 25 with just apexi pfc?

@its2realj We don't need internals to make 190whp. Was just stating that my motor is still OEM.
