Japanese movies are usually accurate to source material from what I've seen, but their low diversity in ethnic backgrounds keeps it from making movies look very realistic to it. The cop in the game is blonde (most likely White), but in here, she's Japanese. America tends to make movies look realistically, but fails to even care about source material. Look at most (because of the first Mortal Kombat movie was good) of our game based movies. They ALL (except MK) strayed from the source material.

Played this as a Wii Game (Onechanbara) and it totally rocks! So much fun to play on the Wii and I just found out there was a movie to it!

I totally agree with you. Onechanbara rocks on Wii. It makes so much fun to slice the zombies into pieces with the Wii Remote. Well I can´t wait for the movie, too. But it seems that the blood is no getting on her body in the trailer. That sucks! =)

I also played Onechanbara on the 360 and the storyline is much better, plus you can dress up the gals. I prefer using the nunchuck and wiiremote though.

As far as the movie, it appeared low budget and cheesy, but I still enjoyed it. Hardcore Onechanbara fans will probably enjoy it too.

I heard that the X360 version is much better. Well if I only think about the movies. ;)

But I have to say that they could have done a muche better job on the Wii. They could use a double Layer DVD and include movies and other stuff also. But I think they want some reasons for the people to buy it also for the other consoles like my brother.
