  • Where is the Cuy-Cuy(guinea pig)????

  • @ xlatina4life culinary is top 10 to even top 5 , but that doesnt mean that it is popular in the United States yet, cuz it isnt it. , its not a big market for it yet. there arent even alot of us living in the United States like the boricuas and the mexicans.., so.. BUT HOPEFULLY one day it will come thru.

  • I went here today! The food was really fantastic and Cesar was such a cool guy! He kept coming by and joking with me because I'm a vegetarian ahaha! But he was so nice and funny and sarcastic, and the food was AMAZING! He was even kind enough to sit down and tell me how to make my dish!! :) If you're near Chicago, DEFINITELY go eat there! You won't regret it!

  • Lots of Peruvian immigrants in my nabe. Great food. The best rotisserie chicken I ever had.

  • I've had peruvian food and it wasn't very good, but I'd like to find a place that has good Peruvian food

  • I'am from lima peru and we don't put beer in our lomo

  • @nsync1975 Hey buddy many people use vinegar , a lot of people use pisco others use chicha de jora few use wine . so why not beer? If it taste good is up to him to use beer cooking lomo saltado. it's his secret ingredient. I'm gonna try sake ( japanese rice wine ) next time I'll cook it.. Congratulation to the owner of Taste of Peru. The people of the neighborhood like the food and this Food star Guy Fieri liked the food so much.

    Saludos desde el Peru.

  • the tamal is not how we peruvians make it cezar keep it real man use choclo y aceitunas de botija

  • Awsome food man Peru is tha bomb B

  • Viva Peru!!!!

  • lomo saltado is so f****** wrong!.. BEER?!!!!!!

  • @calmetoncio

I have actually tried this place and the lomo is very good! (I'm Peruvian born and raised)

  • GUYS RELAX, IT IS NEVER GOING TO BE EXACTLY THE SAME AS BACK HOME!!, ITS A DINER!!, HE HAS TO MAKE SOME SHORT CURTS SOME HOW, TAMALES TAKE AN LONG ASS TIME TO MAKE !, ..but then again lol every peruvian is a strong critic !

  • That' NOT how you cook a tamal. There should be not flour. You use MOTE or regular peruvian corn. I'm peruvian born and raised, french trained chef, so i feel sad when people wrongly teach to cook authentic peruvian food. I can also tell that beer is not (never) part of LOMO SALTADO. This is just a constructive critic. Saludos a mis paisanos.
