You're right. Milwaukee is the same, although it probably has a lot more crime. Madison is rockin, mostly cuz of football, but there is a lot to do during the summer, both in Milwaukee and Madison. Can't wait til college football begins.

I hate people that have nothing good to say! It doesn't really matter where you live, to do almost anything you have to have money, it's not like you're just going to go out every day and spend hundreds of dollars doing crap. The size is just fine, at least it has a lower crime rate than a lot of the 'exciting' places you people would like to live. (If someone replies to this, I'm probably not going to answer you, I'm sick of fights with Lincoln haters.)

You're right. Milwaukee is the same, although it probably has a lot more crime. Madison is rockin, mostly cuz of football, but there is a lot to do during the summer, both in Milwaukee and Madison. Can't wait til college football begins.

What you say is true but what the fuck is there to do during the day besides shop @ walmart. Probably the only thing to do in Lincoln is go to bars downtown and watch huskers football. That shit just gets old. REAL OLD. The only reason why Lincoln has a low crime rate because it's SMALL with lots of cops on every block.

I'm with you there. Lincoln is actually my favorite city. I grew up in Crete and always liked Lincoln. I'm in Utah now, but was able to go back and visit last summer.

Its alright I'll be in Dallas in the 60 degree weather going to six flags while you will be stuck in Nebraska getting snow in and shoveling the snow. You say anything? Is there anything to do here? Oh yeah hopefully the huskers make it to the big 12 championship because I'm going to see them play in the NEW COWBOYS STADIUM. What you think of that? lol

I'm not scared of anything. Yeah I'm scared of leaving!! I just need the money to move out of this run down town. I will be moving out of Nebraska next month to move to an more exciting place. The grass is greener on the other side because why I know. And who the hell drinks wine?

Then do what I did, I moved from my shit hole home town of 25,000 and never looked back. I also don't begrudge anybody for living there. Everybody has to live somewhere.

I found this clip while searching Lincoln City and was wondering if anybody knows the existence of the original Lincoln in the UK and have anyone from your Lincoln USA been to visit. From the clips I have seen of Lincoln NE it does look nice but I cannot imagine not being surrounded by Very old buildings and a rich diverse history. And by the way it also has a fantastic night life.

Lincoln has a terrible night life. The bars downtown suck because it gets too crowded and spill drinks on you. You also got a bunch of wannabe gangsters downtown and slutty ass girls.

Lincoln was named after Abraham Lincoln not after the UK city of Lincoln. Confederates tied the name change of the town to Lincoln as a ploy to try and stop people voting for Nebraska to join the Union. Obviously that ploy failed.

Dude i'm been living in Lincoln NE for 19 yrs and I'm 26 years old. This town is so dead. The olny good thing about Lincoln is Huskers football. Thats only once a year and last up to 4 months. After that then what?

Well i guess for an older person there is more to do. Im not interested in a club scene or anything. We did the Lincoln safari last yr and there is the Railroad days up in Omaha last month... we have the boats in Council Bluffs and heck Kansas City is only 4 hours. I am org from San Francisco and I used to travel all the time. You make your own things to do. I guess use your imagination! Good Luck!

Well your not gonna go to Kansas City, Council Bluffs, or Omaha everyday. That would just too much gas money and plus I have to work. Lincoln dosen't have any club scenes only bars which they suck. It dosen't really make a difference if your old or young. Lincoln NE is boring. There's only so little to do and you just get board with it.

I was born there, but moved to Springfield Mo in the 60s. Lots of corn there. Springfield is much better.
