Here are some facts: These fires can move up to 70 miles an hour. They use every available asset, from water tankers to people on the ground. And a fleet of 747s would sit, not being used for most of the year sucking up tax payers money.

The fire departments are equiped with no more than water and garden hoses against fires of this magnitude.

with afleet of 747 size planes a fire like this can be put out in hours.

and if suposedly intelligent people stoped build junk disposable houses and build them fireproof and equipped in a way that they never have to leave them in any weather event, any little fire like this would never be an issue.
