Self parking? I thought you got a license to drive the vehicle? Are we really succumbing to the conversation piece gizmos? I like this reviewer, but he definitely dropped the ball on this one. You don't test drive the pinnacle of automotive achievement without including it's main attributes. You even explained the reason it doesn't have one, and yet complained further more. Actually it was completely in its right place and a legitimate comparison. It was not about mpg, it was not about fit and finish, it was about a convenience option, which CL lacks but Prius provides.

I like this system better. For beginners it gives you some peace of mind, yet it gradually trains you, so that hopefully you won't need it after a while.

How the hell do they compare a Toyota Prius and that hideous Lincoln to a Benz CL 550? This car is probably the most gorgeous car in the world, has a great engine, and has the ultra-reliability of Mercedes Benz. @DJFG85 Well, hydrolic steering or electric steering it all dpends on the application. The difference is that electric steering decreases the burden on the engine.
Also, no Japanese don't copy always a technology. Audi for example, is copying the SH-AWD of Honda in its newer models. So, don't be prejudiced each sometimes copy from the other regaedless to the origin of nation. Japanese today are making the best overall cars. Germans, and Koreans follow close. Americans are next.
I really like this set up the reason MERC stuck with the hydrolic stearing is to give you a better driving feel the electronic steering systems are completely numb and give you no assurance and can not react as quickly as you can if you need to turn quickly.

the entire review was about an option that no one in the world needs? wow.. im fucking 17 and i could have parallel parked my mazda3 perfectly into the same spot, gotten out and filled the meter in less than the time it took him to stop a city's block of traffic for half a century... shouldnt someone who buys a car with nearly 400 HP be able to handle such a task themselves?

This is the worst review ever.....he reviews one of the best cars in the world, and he talks about parking sensors for 3 minutes....what a tard. And at the end he shows how much he knows what he's talking about by saying that this should have electric steering....yea right. You get no feel of the road with electric steering, it feels like driving a video game, not a sports car.... Anyway, 4 minutes of reviewing and all we learned about this car is its price and that it has parking sensors.
