@fartcious I'll do another video showing the range. With this camera you can't zoom with sound. You can only zoom with the sound turned off. I don't know why they made it like that.
@punchmechick its because when you zoom in and out with sound, you can hear the noise of the autofocus refocusing as the zoom is adjusted. if you look at other cameras that let you keep the sound, there is an incredibly annoying click every time you adjust the zoom :)
is possible while you are filming zoom in and out and it still sounds just fine ?

yeah thats what i heard too... but still you can use the digital zoom i guess with audio on... anyway, let me know if you have the vid soon!

@punchmechick Probably Because the microphone will also be recording the zoom noise.
If thats not it than thats a really dumb decision.....
