People always say how weird it is these two may have had some sort of relationship but people seem to forget that in the comics she became Batgirl at at least 18 she and Dick flirted a liitle and he then moved out of Gotham to the Titans and Starfire, they also forget that Barbara had a crush on Batman and tried to kiss him in some comic, and that was in the seveties.
In her defense, everybody with a pulse -- and some of the undead -- was trying to mack on Batman in the seventies. He is fairly fly, for a white guy... but yeah, good point!
Well in the animated series Dick graduated college before Barbara since in the Batwoman movie she was still in college, so in the animated series she'd be about a year or 2 younger than Dick. Or they are the same age since in the old episodes he and she seemed to go to the same classes.

I absolutely love this video. I've always been a huge fan of Bruce and Babs and this video captures them perfectly. On one of the videos, the creators talk about how they hinted that there was a relationship between Bruce and Babs in the 4th season.
About the age difference, I think since Bruce was an at least 24 when he came up with the motif in Phantasm. A year or so after that he became Batman, he adopted Dick when Dick was 12, and Dick is a year older than Babs. So Bruce would be 12+ years older than Barbara. That's my most educated guess.
I think the couple's cute mostly because of Babs's crush on Bruce, I don't think they had anything serious since Bruce respects Commissioner Gordon too much to be intimate with his daughter.
Barbara was confirmed to have been 20 years old in Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero wich was the last film in the timeframe of when the series was titled 'The adventures of Batman and Robin',. However, in 1997 the series was revamped and titled 'The New Batman Adventures' and takes place 3 years after The adventures of Batman and Robin/Sub-zero, so...
Batgirl/Barbara Gordon is 23, and fully legal for Bruce. I just don't get why she traded Dick Grayson for Bruce Wayne. I feel your pain, Dick!
who cares? aren't they sweet together? i think they match pretty well...but yeah!! Bruce will never get together with Jim Gordon's daughter...i guess it's really hard to be a socialite...i bet Harley Quinn and The Joker got this huge age gap in between them, but they are villains, never mind the rules or morals <3!!
