btw, i have a good friend called Faazil Kassam and another called Robert Roberts. Faazil was only about 300 in the world, Roberts was like 650 and they kick your butt. And there are 1000's of ppl in China (not even provincial level) who can crush you so how can you say you are amongst the best in the world? Thats for like, Kreanga to say... @wallygreennyc What kind of paddle do you use if you dont mind me asking? I am a beginner and I have these paddles that came with the table but its very hard to put spins on a ball without making it fly off the table.

P.S.The ones I have, have the little rubber dots all over it for friction or something.

I'm thinking about coming to New York to train and get some coaching. In Pennsylvania, there are good players but not enough to learn by. Most people at the club are 1700-1800. I am 1350. Do you know any drills I can do to advance from 1350 to 1800 quickly? That's probably a tought question.

If you're 1350, you probably shouldn't take the sport very seriously cause there's little hope for you ... well unless you're like 6 years old or something. The only people rated that low are kindergarteners and older people who suck really really bad. And don't bother going to those clubs in New York cause they'll just laugh at you behind your back ... and eventually they'll start laughing in front of you too LOL

Wally, What blade/rubber and sponge thickness do you use?

Now I am using this really good balde from Joola. Its called Joola Linus. Its really amazing! On the backhand Im using Joola Mambo H 2.1 or 2.2. This is also extremely good rubber for backhand, and on the Forhand I am using Chinese Rubber Hurricane 3 thickness 2.5 41hardness.

Honestly I dont know what to say about that movie becuase I think it makes fun of the sport but as I just found out today our paths may soon cross. i dont really have a favorite player. i like all of them because everyone has diifferent strengths and weakneses. i do like to watch players like kreanga and Saiive because they are so energetic but i dont really have a favorite.

Do you really compete in pro tour table tennis tournaments? Does that mean you are a real pro? Do you play players like wang liqin,timo boll etc? What glue do you use? And do you use the same glue for your fh and bh? Because I read that rubbers like skyline are better with special thick  glues like noriko/haifu/sanding? What's your USATT rating? Yes I compete in the pro tour. All those top players like the ones you have mentioned are very good friends of mine. Now ii havent really been training because of my album, so when i do practice any glue is ok. But normally yes Noriko on forehand and butterfly fair chack on backhand.

I made the table tennis game with Rockstar Games. Most of the motion capture of the game comes from me, so I had a two year contract with them. Right now i have some major things being worked out, so I will just see what will happen in next couple of weeks.

Thanx Yes I do use a special version of it when i can get it. Thats usually when i am in Japan. I started out using Skyline 3 but now I using 2 because its much stronger so it does not tear. nodias is an amazing rubber for your backhand. Its the same rubber Wnag Liquin uses in his backhand. Its good for everthing. Gluing depends on where I am playing.

If I am playing hhere in the US I usually only glue one time especially if its humid weather. maybe twice. If I am playing international pro-tour then I glue after every match I play, so probably about 4times plus one more which makes 5 and that includes doubles. There are some glues that are out now which are legal to use for the ban.

Since they are not actually banning spped glue but the chemicals that are in it, theres ppobably some really good stuff that will probably produce the same effect but without the chemicals. So I would eventually go to one of those. Hey if you get a chance check out my myspace site.
