Hey baby you have my vote and always will. No matter how many comment's you get on Utube it's a pleasure to hear you sing this song in person every Tuesday at the Avenue you go boy !!
I'm pleased to say that Ken is one of my friends on Facebook ... and my wife and I were at this performance in Sarasota (where we live) in February 2008.
Was thinking of you this morning. I don't know why except that you are still in my heart. Seeing you before Christmas was great. Finally working with you a bit was wonderful. You are as stunning today, as that special day when you returned in 1968.
Had to visit this again thinking of my special friend. Hope to see you soon. The original cut version showing just the 45 RPM record an label was removed for copyright/fair use reasons. Too ad such a great song for great memories. Luv you dear!
Sorry but the first memory of this song was from Johnny Nash, I later heard the Casino version both sang this song with their own interpretation and did it beautifuly. So those of you who had given the negative comment quit acting childish and lets be grateful that these great singers gave us something to cherish for the rest of our lives, that is what rock n roll was about the sweet innocense of youth. Ask yourselves if this music doesnt bring a tear to your eyes and a smile on your lips.
It is Ken Brady who was among various lead singers for the Casinos. Don't forget voices are seldom the same as people age. these guys were singing since the late 1950's. i think Ken took over as the lead following Gene's death. By then they were no longer recording and many members had changed over the years.

I met Ken Brady recently. In one word, Ken Brady's style: smooth.

I agree. He's no Gene Hughes but it's an awesome song still.

Ken Brady still sounds great. My wife and I have seen him perform twice already in 2009 (at Senior Expos in west-central Florida).
