Songs is so powerful and deep., it cuts through me like anything, i dunno why but it feels like its hitting me so deep and hard that i cant bear it, Its almost as good as Saving Private Ryans Omaha Beach.
My Grandpa on my Dads side was an American pilot of a bomber in WWII. My grandpa on my Moms side was was held int he Japanese camps in America. Kinda wierd?

I've met one, who was the ball turret gunner for a B-17E. He said it was very cramped and that the maximum height was 6'.2". He also said that there was, usually, no room for a parachute and that getting out you had to match the hatch and opening perfectly otherwise it wouldn't open.
@JackMon122 My grandfather fought in Asia not only in the Polish army. Still alive. But I admit that your grandparents fought not only in Asia but also in Europe. One of them, John Bradley fought on Iwo Jima and raised the flag on the hill suribachi. Respect for him.
Today marks the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. This song sounds truly American and I always think of sacrifice then i listen to this piece.
This theme song is short but it makes you think of the sacrifice and the loss and tragedy's that family's suffered through WWII and all other wars and to all those soldiers that have died fighting for freedom and the great country America I salute you and pray your in heaven.
DAYUM this gam was HARD. I never even made it to the Penderson Field level. The night raid on Guadalcanal was impossible for me even on easy. I firmly remember having 3 rounds left of my revolver and using it as a sniper rifle along with some Jap machine gun with a mag left. if I missed a shot. I was just dead.
They have. It's called Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor Allied Assault and any MoH predating 2003 (The initialisation of Infinity Ward and Call of Duty)
moh shoud have continiued to make ww2 games not his modern imaginare wars crap, but they had to because you cant improve perfection and for that time mohpa was perfection. When you played this game you could realy fell what those soldiers
felt ,you can see the war as they did this is a better monument then any statue and one day when you have kids even 15 from now show them this game tell them of the brave soldiers of all liberating armyes.
I'm a Dutch man of 21, my Grandpa was a Soldier in Operation Market Garden (A Britt) and we never knew if he made it out alive, he never returned to grandma...
I am very interested in anything about WW II and therefore i have every MoH game and played it countless times, it is still beautiful.
As even though i love every MoH Theme Song/Level Song, i think the Pacific Assault Theme and Arnhem Knights Theme are the very, very best.
RIP and thank you, to all liberators of every Nation back then
@EHVMichael Respect to your Grandad, theres a bit of class in the Medal of Honor games, altho they lost there way over the last few games, the last 1 set in modern times the Single player i realy enjoyed but it was short. Id like to see a return to the WW2 era some day.
@BRUTALGn5 Thanks for the reply, i hope maby one day when COD,MOH and Battlefield have worn out the modern era they will go back to WW2, maby they will wait for the next consoles. Do you play any games online on xbox 360,PS3 or PC ?
If he was in the Paratroopers, i really don't know, honestly...
And i never asked my grandma, as she has already enough trouble with those times as it is...
He might've been, or he might've been not... Maybe he was a cavalerist or 'ordinary' Infantryman?
And yes, i say thanks to the liberators of e3very nation involved, since many nations actually fought for our freedom. Today, many young folks forget that fact...
Even though, i have to admit one thing on here, and i hope not too many folks get mad about, here it goes :
Even though the Nazi's where a bad form of reigning a country/empire, to say the least, i still believe as today, that many, very many young German man who died in the SS, Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe or whatever, where just as young and naive people as the American young lads, just defending their country and leader...
And i hate how nowadays Germans are still blamed for it!
"many, very many young German man who died in the SS, Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe or whatever, where just as young and naive people as the American young lads, just defending their country and leader..."
I get your point. And I think you're right. What made the difference between them is the cause they served and also how they served it. Of course, even though an awful lot of war crimes were committed in the Armed Forces of the Axis, we can't say ALL were irremediably evil to the core.
@EHVMichael thank god i found someone thankful for the sacrifices so many people made in that great conflict, my grandmother's brother was in the Life Guard and then when war broke out, the Desert Rats, and fought from North Africa to Italy, and From France to Germany. he lost 3 fingers and a lung and later died from the complications. My great grandfather lost an arm in WW1 and my grandmother was in the RAF as a nurse and later married an American oficer and moved here.
@EHVMichael i understand completely, ts just that i see too much American bashing going on, calling our soldiers baby killers among other things and it needs to stop. it's not their fault theyre in an unjust war.
@EHVMichael yea, there are attrocities in every war, from the very beginning of time to the end, things like the execution of civilians and the destruction of entire towns will always be a part of war. but just because of a few bad eggs, theres no reason to indescriminately hate all military personell. those that have unjustly done terrible things to others should be looked down upon and their crimes should be answered for. but those innocent ones that come home and face the blame should not.
@EHVMichael thank you for the appreciation youve shown to all those who gave their lives and other things in service to their country and those of others. its things like this that make me wish there were more people in the world like us today who still remember what it is to actually care for our loved and lost...not just buying a bumper sticker saying that we support our troops. and as for those who dont agree with the war in Iraq, i agree fully, but dont treat the soldiers who come back like
No problem mate, i enjoyed reading this, as i am a ex-soldier from Holland myself.
You are damn right people disrespect and underestimate Soldiers that come back from the front.
Whatever the political reasons may be to invade / enter a country, the soldiers didn't ask for it, they just need to execute without complaint.
In fact exactly the soldier's job you would say, but that's bullshit, they're defenders of the country who swore an oath, not just ordinary hitman or criminals...
@EHVMichael awesome story, also I recommend call of duty 1 & 2, some of the best WWII game I've played...for a glimpse of its awesome'ness look up "Call of Duty Red Square" on youtube

@SGEmoCoolBoi84 actually he was killed by a katana... he was fighting hand-to-hand with a japanese and he got killed... good thing his friend saw them and shot the japanese and tried to cure him but... it was too late! too bad! well at least the war's over right and my grampa is in good place now! his rank is corporal
(Cpl. James Bernardo Flores) god bless him... :D HE WAS BADASS!
the music makes me remember how my great grampa fought and die! sorry for my bad english! im filipino and its a good thing the american dudes helped us back in the day... i will always remember my great grampa's stories!!!
Mr. Lennertz sent to me about a little over a year or so ago. If you want it PM me and I'll send you a copy. I have this and the European Assault theme sheet music.
@BlackTurtle82, No! Of course not! I just don't like Brothers in Arms. That doesn't mean that I don't like french game developers! Most of the games created by Ubisoft are great, like Splinter Cell, Playboy the Mansion, Farcry or even Rayman.
@MrRedberet Brothers in arms was good. At least the first one. I wasn't particular for hells highway just because the game they showed is not the game they released. Seriously, look up the alpha version of that game, looks amazing. The full game they released looks like shit. Not just graphics either, a number of elements were removed and it's just sad.
moh pa is a ww2 game and its the best.the people that thinks medal of honor 2010 belongs to medal of honor well... there are stupid.this is a song for glory of america and all soldiers died for america
I love this theme so much :') I was playing Pacific Assault a while go for old times sake, and for some reason I love the older graphics. Brings good memories back :D
Poland Russia America England France Canada Australia New Zealand South Africa Yugoslavia Belguim Netherlands Greece Norway China Japan Germany Italy Romania Hungary Finland Bulgaria Iraq Thailand Your brave soldiers will never be forgotten.
@rifleman316caliber Look at my original comment. I mention us Poles first. We fought the Germans and the Russians. Cut off, surrounded and without an ally to speak of, the Poles bravely fought not only against Nazi occupation and the Holocaust, but also alongside the Red Army, The Brits, and the USA. The west sold Poland out. Twice.
Songs is so powerful and deep., it cuts through me like anything, i dunno why but it feels like its hitting me so deep and hard that i cant bear it, Its almost as good as Saving Private Ryans Omaha Beach.

Say whatever you want, but I like both Modern Warfare and WWII games. Except of Brothes in Arms. That totally sucks

@MrRedberet You hate French game developers eh?
BlackTurtle82 1 year ago
@BlackTurtle82, No! Of course not! I just don't like Brothers in Arms. That doesn't mean that I don't like french game developers! Most of the games created by Ubisoft are great, like Splinter Cell, Playboy the Mansion, Farcry or even Rayman.

@MrRedberet Alright then.

@MrRedberet Brothers in arms was good. At least the first one. I wasn't particular for hells highway just because the game they showed is not the game they released. Seriously, look up the alpha version of that game, looks amazing. The full game they released looks like shit. Not just graphics either, a number of elements were removed and it's just sad.

if i could i would go back in time and fight in this war, just to show how much i respect these soldiers.

MOH and MW2 are awesome games, no need to compare them! Take a look at nineoffers(dot)com, they are giving away free Xbox 360 with MOH included!

@Zylo587 dude... the poles helped out too! remember! the falaise gap!
rifleman316caliber 9 months ago
@rifleman316caliber Look at my original comment. I mention us Poles first. We fought the Germans and the Russians. Cut off, surrounded and without an ally to speak of, the Poles bravely fought not only against Nazi occupation and the Holocaust, but also alongside the Red Army, The Brits, and the USA. The west sold Poland out. Twice.
