If your In Ireland The New " V " starts tomorrow ( Thursday 5th Nov ) on TV3. should point out that only 4 episodes will be shown both In the states & Ireland then will break until March ( Blame ABC for this )

Yes the theme from the "Final Battle" was quite eerie and scary. Though produced in 1983 or so, it still sounds good today.

There is a re-make of "V" that will start airing on ABC in January 2010. Preview trailers for it have been posted on Youtube, and can be found by searching for them.

Latest News: Kenneth Johnson V creator is working to get V on to the BIG Screen. He's not linked to this new tv series of V being made by ABC and it does not effect work on the big screen version.

Unfortunately, yes. I read it in two days and hated every minute of it. I LOVED V as a kid and Ken Johnson is a great writer/creator. But, ignoring VTFB was a terrible decision. Read the book for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

I agree with you, but I get the feeling that Johnson hates VTFB (since he didn't direct it), so I'm not surprised that he chose to ignore it.

I can't believe they are doing a remake. Why risk fans not watching, it's stupid. They should of just used Kenneth's idea of 29 years later and focus on new characters. As much as I loved the series I'll prob watch but, don't expect anything.
