because in wow you have no player collision. in WAR you have to be careful or you'll get boxed in by tanks.

Two questions: Is the game laggy no matter how good your system? And does Destruction always beat Order like how Horde always beats Alliance in WoW?

the game runs quite smoothly for people with fairly new systems.

The realms have been fairly even the last few weeks. Destruction was popular in the beginning but it has evened out.

no i played the game and got killed i thought it was unfair because order has a magic wall of people and guns men/women and i think when they do that well i know there is no way in beating them

Yeah, I have to admit. Order and Destro are EXTREMELY EVEN. It's great. The battles are so much better than WoW because of it's fairness. Neither side kills like in WoW, but id say its a 50/50 win/loose on my server. I'm a squig herder too, but both sides retreat the same.

I hate Destruction there are like 2 destro players for 1 Order player...

Yeah, but you have to admit, it's a great plan on their part to try and get people to play Order with the 20% bonus... It will even out eventually.

barely...since the classes of both sides are different it may just "force" people to change from a class they think is fun to a class that is good in PvP

that's a good question that I will be happy to answer. There are much less people playing this game than WoW, although this game is now the most quickly mass-bought MMORPG of all time, (and that's buys per amount of time, not buys in general), but moving on to the question you had: what they did to counter that is made a small amount of servers in which to play, so that although the fanbase overall is small, the game areas will have concentrated and high amounts of players. I think it'll be pretty even. The kids will likely be attracted to Order, but I plan to play Order later too...

i dunno kids go by pretty colors and destruction looks far more appealing with their armor and weapons .. i've leveld my ironbreaker to 18 befor i had really any character change and encountered no kids yet but alot of des rolling order for talk of chuck norris on chaos :P

Yeah its annoying being on Alliance in WoW, lose like 90% of the time and we still have freaken large que times. With balanced populations, the RvR in WAR should be alot better. =D

Just played some closed beta capped off by preview weekend. It's a fantastic game and will woo a lot of gamers. Warhammer is and will be epic.

They are completely balanced. Choose whichever one has the class you'd like to play. During my experiences in RvR on WAR, I lost pvp battles about as much as I won them.

That being said, there's always going to be secret raid planning and the feeling of being overrun in pvp, but if your realm is organized enough, you'll get them back a week or so later ;)

That's good to know. I love the Warhammer orcs, but I always try to roll as the underdog and with all the attention on destruction I thought I would be rolling order.

I could run WOW on the high settings Icmania, when i tried to boot up war for preview weekend, not enough RAM/bad video card/cpu

:D :( i ordered a new computer now =P -sigh- got a good 6 years out of this one with no upgrades :D

Quick question, do you think a computer that was able to run WoW at 29-35 FPS on avg. could possibly run WO? WoW usually ran extremely smoothe, for the most part, on my laptop, but i'm wondering if it can run WO at a decent frame rate...it seems to me that this game is just a small step above WoW's graphics..tell me what you think...

Upon first glance this game can feel like a small step above WoW. But trust me when i say my videos do not do it justice. There's a lot of subtle detail that doesn't translate well into a 320x240 box. That being said, you should be able to run the game with the settings turned down if you were able to run WoW with the settings turned up.

It seems that you are playing with a pretty low FPS. wouldnt you rather decrease the graphical settings, maybe play at lower resolution and have the game be fluid instead?

Ah , I see. I hadnt considered that programs such as fraps tend to take up system resources and reduce fps that massively.
