  • i love this song

  • @EpsilonX Yeah, but it is pretty fun live... (Black, that is)

  • Gave me shivers ♥ IDGAF bout wat ya'll think. Mmmmmmmmmm ♥♥♥

  • i wanna live on that rock

  • One of my favourite songs on the album. It was worth buying

  • I wish this song was on the album instead of, say, Black. Screw that song.

  • to the people who dont like this song...its just like dying in your arms was to ascendancy..not heavy fucking metal but still a kick ass song.

  • Lmfao, I agree, Trivium does Own, but that doesn't exactly mean they can just change everything that Made Trivium, Trivium and still expect fans to be there. People that dislike this shit has that right honestly, It's what you risk when you flip flop on your music, just ask Metallica ~.^

  • My song of the moment <3

  • you know their good when your 43 yr old mom likes them

  • "Oh its too mainstream i'm so indie everything mainstream is so shit im so unique and hipster" FUCK OFF YOU CLOSE MINDED CUNTS

  • Thank god this was a bonus track.... It sounds like radio rock

  • sounds kind of like coheed and cambria

  • @ToxikThrashard218 theres very few metal bands i stay religous to nowa days trivium, children of bodom, amon amarth, but oh man shogun was one of the best albums ive ever heard

  • I love everything they put out. They can't make an album twice, fuck all you little inbred, ignorant tweens..Trivium fuckng owns!!

  • <3

  • Its too short!

  • TRIVIUM! . . . sons of bitches

  • i wish this song was longer :( i cant get enough of it TriViuM forever \m/

  • i see it heavy yet peacefull and i think its pretty f'cking awesome

  • @mrBarballara imo id isn't a matter of wether it's mainstream or not, I like almost all songs by Trivium and I think it's really cool to see band that's so extremely talented that they can do so many different types of songs and still make it great! And I think we should encourage mor bands to do just like Trivium, expand their views, how else are bands supposed to improve themselves?

  • @Jamalnumberr25 totally agree dude. its called progressing as an artist.

  • meh, so it isnt as heavy as most of their other stuff, its a bonus track and its awesome, trivium still ahvent lost their touch and i hope their next album will just just or even MORE kick arse

  • Trivium has started to go mainstream with this album. I really like this album, but some of the songs are more mainstream and not as heavy as their older stuff.

  • @MrBallara Idk, I mean this was a bonus track, maybe they realized it was more mainstream and that's why they made it a bonus.

  • @MrBallara

Who cares if theyre more mainstream or not?

  • @MrBallara I think that this album at least sounds just as heavy as shogun and the crusade

  • @MrBallara who cares theyre still one of the most amazing bands ever and this is a really great song metal or not and this is metal n its own way u culd hear the pamn mutes and pinch harmonics and everything and like the little shredding in the solo so its all good its not like theyre like a gay pop rock band or anything lol theyre still trivium jst a lil different but a really good different :)

  • @MrBallara maintstream? if this was what mainstream sounded like I'd be jizzing all over the place! but yeah I get what you mean though :p

  • @MrBallara but when you listen to it, some parts on the album are heavier than anything they've done..

  • @MrBallara so fuck if there songs arnt all heavy. This track is nice. Its kinda like what dying in your arms was to acendency. The track to show that trivium have another side to them. and not just total brutality. Which is good as well. You could sitll mosh and headbang to this.

  • whoever dont like trivium go fuck yourselves!!!

  • Great song.... still gotta love Caustic!

  • This is their best song on the album followed by Of All These Yesterdays, then going to Black or Built to Fall. This is what made the band stand out, is that they can make good music for everyone.

  • I love metal to death and I enjoy whatever sub genre everybody seem to classify bands in. But I swear it has one of the dumbest communities ever. You can basically go to any bands page and the comment section is filled with arguments over what genre a song/band is. Just because you listen to metal and bang your head it to it, it doesn't make you a badass, just like listening to rap or hip hop doesn't automatically mean you're some sort of druglord/gangster. Just shut up and listen to the music.

  • fuckin´pop song

  • @killyourkitty Apparently you have no idea what pop songs sound like...

  • @inuyahsha18 The tuning has nothing to do with the genre...

  • @inuyahsha18 ^this this this and this..

I hate how people assume SCREAMO = metal. Where that is true, metal doesnt need scream to be exactly that..

  • sounds like coheed and cambrias the suffering

  • fukin ppl man y cnt they jst accept the new style of trivium its fukin sickk i love their new album fuck all u huys who dnt like jst fukin die n dnt fukin listen 2 it u fukin faggot ass bitches

  • this song sounds kinda like a heavyer red jumpsuit apperatus to me

  • and i'm not one of those people that listen to metal just because of screams or the double bass pedals in a song. in fact i think those people dont know what music is because i feel like they arent listening to the song. i listen to a wide variety of bands and genres of metal such as, Lord Vampyr, Theatres Des Vampires, My Dying Bride, Cradle Of Filth, and many more. i'm not just some mainstream listener that likes bands like Bullet For My Valentine, A7X and Disturbed. (i actually despise them)

  • alright, i'm on both sides of this album. i think they did their own thing and made the sound dfferent on this album which i'm proud of them for BUT, i'm not really liking it. it seems more like something they just kinda threw together, and like it lacks the epicness that the previous albums all had. i really hope they go back to their old sound because this just sounds like every other metal band does to me and it doesnt have what set them apart and what made me like them in the first place

  • @OurDarkSecretLove i dont see that happening they said that with this album they were writing how theyve always wanted to and with song writing in mind not worrying bout technicality or brutality which matt said there is some in there (and it shows) he said that in this album we have some of our heaviest moments and some of our most melodic..so i doubt the old style completely comes back but i personally love the album i think its the only one that competes with ascendency but others dont

  • @poplepo3 like i said, im glad they did their own thing but i'm just really hoping they release another album like the crusade, ascendancy, or ember to inferno. but there were a few songs i like on this album. i thought Inception of the End and Dusk Dismantled were great songs but other than that i just thought the album was good. i was really hoping Shattering The Skies Above and Slave New World would end up on this album but i guess they werent :(

  • @OurDarkSecretLove I kinda look at it like this. Trivium seems to do something different with every album. Shogun and Crusades were kinda similar, but overall every album they've put out has been different in some way. Which means they'll probably try something new again. But I actually really enjoy it myself.

  • @War624 so true. well i hope their next album, sounds different as well.

  • I dont care even Trivium decides to make a trance song i will stand by triviums side!

  • it's not a question of whether it's metal or not. It's a question of whether it's good music or not. and the answer is yes... if you only listen to Trivium because they are "metal" then that's just sad. They are excellent musicians who make great music... no matter what genre their music is. They have stated in interviews that this album is intended to simply sound good, not show off skill or be "the most brutal thing" as too many modern metal bands try to do. so enjoy the damn song.

  • This is a bonus track only available on special edition, so i don't think they intended it to be a radio single. And it may not be a heavy song but it is still metal... Does anyone remember when metal first started, there wasn't growling and guttural screaming back then, but it was still called metal. Matt has a good voice, why shouldn't he use it to its full potential.

  • The only thing I hate about this song is that it's to short lol

  • This might be the song that gets trivium on the daily radio which will get them all over the world, just sayin'

  • Pop?

  • Man this song may not be metal but its still amazing the way matt sings its sounds fukin amazing n i love the whole in waves album but my favorite is still shogun though but in waves is my second favorite TRIVIUM 4 LIFE!!!

  • the 'Dying in your arms' of the new album, it is just so amazing

  • Comment removed

  • Love this one... reminds me of Ascendancy songs even with no screaming...

  • Uh, where'd the metal go?

  • @SexTigerAlpha It's just one song bro.

  • @xTaaylorGang He's just hatin'. I don't think he sees the orgasmic brilliance in this album!

  • @TheTylerGeissler Haha, obviously not.

  • @TheTylerGeissler This is obviously the first Trivium album you've heard then. This sounds like every other talentless metalcore band.

  • @fuckinteamus Leave

  • @fuckinteamus fuck u dude ur fukin dead n trivium has always been alive n ur the one whos fukin dead bcuz u dnt heaar the glory of this album so fuck u n dnt fukin listen 2 anything off this album again bitch!!!

  • @fuckinteamus hey listen to Dusk Dismantled and say that in waves is the best album trivium has ever made and thats hard to do because the crusade was fucking epigasmic

  • @KornRules619 Youre obviously good music retarded because the crusade was a complete pile of pussy bullshit garbage. i dont have to explain to you what crappy music is though seeing as you think "Korn rules"

i rest my case real metal rejoice in the fact that trivium is dead and remember them for the good years. Not In Waves or the crusade

  • @SexTigerAlpha this is more metal than most bands these days... great fucking lyrics, awesome chorus and headbanger compatible all the way to end ...

  • Definitely one of my favorites on the album
