  • Make sure the gun is empty? Really?! Whodathunk?!

  • Dude i love your product but that video made me want to die. stick to what yall do best

  • I have used several cleaners and for the price and excellent cleaning properties you can't go wrong with # 9. It gets the job done and smells good. I just bought their air freshener they are selling.

  • I just bought Hoppes #9 (liquid), Hoppes lubricating oil (aerosol) and Break-Free CO-4 Collector Long Term Storage Protectant (liquid) for my Mosin-Nagant 91/30. I have some patches and the tools that came with the rifle. Do I need anything else, like a bore brush or any other product? Thanks.

  • Just found a like million year old bottle of that stuff at the sporting camps I work at in a broken down shed xD

  • I wish you can drink this stuff.

  • Would it be safe to use Hoppes 9 lube on a wooden stock?

  • hmm... I dont know about sweet smelling.

  • smells like bannana

  • Am on my way to pick up my first 'real' rifle, a used Marlin 336 30-30.

Then I will buy is a Hoppes cleaning kit, and clean it!!

This is an excellent step by step instructional video! Thanks.

  • im guessing that the guy works for hoppes. but thats just a guess.

  • I spilled a whole bottle of this stuff in my room, lol.

I sometimes wonder if I did it on purpose.

  • @pocat6 fucking hilarious comment... ha ha ha, seriously!

  • I haven't tried the newer Hoppe's No. 9 so I don't know how it smells. The original had nitrobenzene which smells great- in fact, some years ago I added a few ounces of same to a quart bottle of No. 9 which didn't have it. Still have that quart bottle- LOVE that smell!

Yeah, I'd like the nitrobenzene to return even though it is toxic...

  • I've been using Hoppes over 40 years...great product....

  • does this work with airsoft guns?if so does it make it faster

  • Why use a carbon solvent when you obviously have no carbon build up?

  • @rico522 so you have to go buy more

  • tit

  • hoppe's is mild, i use gallons of it. for really stubborn copper/lead i use a stronger solvent like sweets or barnes but i always follow it up with a liberal amount of good ol hoppes to remove the stronger stuff.

  • have you ever tried ballistol....only heard good things , waitign on mine to come in .

  • God I love the smell of hoppe's!
