  • cute little fish

  • the best part about what i learned about this is i now know why they named the shark from finding nemo bruce lol :)

  • If any movie needs a remake, it's Jaws. Not because there was anything wrong with the acting, plot, etc. in the original, but because now they could make the shark REALISTIC and it would be as scary as Hell!

  • @jackhateya No i think you're dead wrong on that. A remake of this film would absolutely stink. Jaws is a classic as is. A remake would have CGI coming out your ears. Its not about how real the shark is. Its about playing on the psychology of fear. Jaws has a chemistry that can't be matched. Rick Roy and Robert are those characters. A remake today would have all these A list over done actors trying too hard. And CGI sharks every 2 mins.

Nothing special. Same crap we get now.

  • always loved the sharks and the movie jaws only increased my passion for them!

  • Steven Spielberg - Ruining the oceans for people since 1975...

  • I'm not interested in just video of it! I'm dying to know what it's made of!

  • its not the movies fault...its stupid people who dont take time to compare a movie monster to an actual great white...geez...take away the spark of creation why dont you

  • I know that, but what's it made of?

  • I'm 16 and this has been my favorite movie since I was probably 8

  • I want a mechanical shark I can put in my pool (;

  • Valerie Taylor, - great body, horny chick, ..... lots of marbles rolling around up in the attic though.

  • Valerie Taylor was gorgeous

  • great whites can exceed 20ft

  • @Kalebbrantleach They can in fact grow to 25 feet!

  • Oh my god. That footage is so brilliant and interesting. Is that documentary for sale?

  • damn even i know this isn't a real shark and it can't harm, i couldn't stand to close to it...

  • BrUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUccccccccccccccccccccccceeeeee!!!

  • I saw this film in 1976 at Wimbledon cinema. Didn't go in the sea until about 1993.

    You bastard Spielberg.

  • @noiseache Don't blame Spielberg! Blame the shark behind the Jersey Shore attacks of 1916! Those attacks inspired this movie!

  • the sequels portrayed the great white in a more accurate light? thats why i guess the shark in the revenge found out they were traveling to the bahamas and beat the plane to there.

  • @AJM212006

The best way i can explain that is the cousin shark in Jaws 2 bit into a power & comm cable, his/her consciousness became part of the matrix (what was it in Lawnmower man??) and though pulses, communicated to its family members about this rotten Brody family. That's how it knew Ellen Brody called the travel agent and booked the plane to the Caribbean. Seriously though, GW sharks travel 1000km in a few days. Its fucking amazing, look it up if you can .. contin....

  • @AJM212006

They GPS them, on east coast of Australia, one was around Tasmania then went up past Brisbane (basically swimming non-stop) in a few days. On the west coast they go between Perth and Africa!! Although it takes them longer. That dash up the coast blew my mind.

  • Hehe now I love Ron and Val Taylor but I'll ask this. If Ron and Val were so upset at the reaction to Jaws.......................why on earth did they agree to do the live shark footage for Jaws 2????

  • yeah, thxs for posting! i know that it's weird but upclose of the shark face its kinda cute sometimes!!! : )

  • Epic!

  • awesome i wish that was in my room.

  • Awesome clip. If only those sharks were preserved properly after production.

  • i thought bruce died

  • People who don't like what the movie caused people to do need to take the stick out of their ass and loosen up. Animals are meant for human use anyway. If the shark scared people for real, then good, the thriller movie did it's job.

  • that's sad about the sharks though

  • Love the video, but I'm tired of hearing that Jaws is responsible for the deaths of many beautiful Great White sharks -- Jaws is a fairy tale, a horror film. If people hunted the shark more after the film, they could only use that film as an excuse, I think. The film might be responsible for a certain fear of the ocean and its predators, but these fishermen obviously exploited that for their own pleasure. Who would really be persuaded to kill a shark on the basis of this film alone?

  • great footage! Thanks for putting it up.

  • But Ron and Val still worked on Jaws 2, so the impact of Jaws couldn't have upset them too much. This is what I have never understood.

  • So sad that people felt they needed to kill these impressive beautiful animals because of a film. I almost feel guilty for liking this film.

  • i need to know what a flak is !

  • Indeed, sharks where hunted just because people feared them!

  • nice,

  • great clip!!!!

  • NICE !

  • more great stuff !!!!...thanx for posting
