Knowing about famous people who stutter DOES NOT help a person with this problem. Knowing and using various stuttering treatment therapies often does help. There are some good ones available. For instance, naturaltherapyforstuttering. -c-o-m is a good one. Regular meds often help, but have side effects.

If Bruce Willis and Julia Roberts have a stutter why do I never hear it?? I dont think the person who created this knows what a real stutter is. It's not just taking your time to say a sentence, it's a very embarrassing situation where words seem almost impossible to get out, and there's no easy way around it. If they were real stutterers I doubt they would be actors to begin with

cause stutter is not permanent. unless it is a really bad case. stutter is the cover, there are some other problem below. to male stutter better is to get over the barriers and to do what IS embarrassing for you. Well I do stutter myself. Not that hard though. But sometimes it gets really tough. And sometimes I can speak the most fluent speech possible. Stutter often has to do a lot with psychological problems. Bruce and Julia hadn't just gone and taken up acting in films...

Look up actress Emily Blunt's acceptance speech at the American Institute for Stuttering Gala. It's very moving and she explains how she was able to act. She said receiving that is her greatest honor and she starts to cry at the end. VP Joe Biden's speech at the Gala is also very good and inspiring as he talks about how his family helped him through his stutter.

I stutter or not is not the issue, the issue is that the moral of any stutter should never be let go down. It is the general trend that people misjudge stutters that they r insane as they r unable to express themselves properly , but medical science has proved that they r pretty people having speaking disabilities.

I stutter and when people don't know that you stutter they tend to think it's funny but when they realise you really do stutter you can tell that they are alittle ashamed of thinking it was funny... but I guess you can't blame them for not knowing but it shouldn't make you afraid of doing certain things or first and foremost talking to people cause if you don't talk they'll never know right?

If you are interested in what can be done to reduce the amount of stammering in this world, please search for 'speakingout2' and look at 'Save 9 out of 10 children from a lifetime of stammering'. There is currently an opportunity to do exactly this in England and Wales, but it would be possible to do it in any country in the world. The video is a bit long and serious, and there is quite a lot of stammering, but it's very important stuff. Nice shirt, too.
