Is your bike easy to start? i bought a used one and it is way hard to start hot and cold. Also can you power wheelie in 3rd? i tried but the front end just wont go up.

@Lizzylump get your valves adjusted and it will start easier, you will also get more top end power. hope that hepled. my bike is an 08 but it was brand new and it wouldnt start very well and i didnt have alot of top end my valves were too tight.

if u leave the bike to idle for long without moving it will blowup cuz the engine isnt getting cooled down thats what the radiators are for so if there is no are coming through the radiators then the engine isnt getting cooled then it will fuck up  i seen it happen on race day i felt bad for the dude

lots of the time your not having trouble with the valves, you just need to get them shimmed or adjusted, it says in the book every 15 hours to get them re-adjusted, my bikes in right now getting re-adjusted. got about 40 hours on them

EVERY 20 HRS??? That is WAY too much than you need to! My CRF150R need a rebuild every 20hrs. But thats for TOP performance, i do it once a season.

well iv got a a hot rods crank, and stage PRO CIRCUIT STAGE 3 MODIFIED CYLINDER HEAD, wihch includes the port and polished head, TI valves, high co pistion, cams, ignition it has to be rubuilt every 20hrs everytime i do it it has alot of wear but i ride it really hard to i race the 250b

every 20 hours is what it recommends in the manual. You are way overdue on ur valves. ur bike will still run but you will notice a big increase in performance if you do your valves.

Dude, definitely not the 450. especially at 15. People do not normally get 450s until they are about 19. 2 strokes are not getting made after 2010. also 2 strokes do not have enough bottom end.

I just picked my 09 crf250r up a week and a half ago love the power and i only got 4 hours on it couple things to remember is always have teh valves checked every 15 hours and clean teh air filter as often as possible

they are known to be weak radiators. you should watch out because your luck might run out . how high are you just wondering because if you are shorter you have a better chance of droping it im 6'8 and it still falls on me.
